i actually dont think there should be any space for people changing their tune now that they oppose this current famine. it is too late. i think they should have to live with that stain forever and be totally ostracized tbh. i dont care!

Canada is so heavily complicit in Israel's crimes. Canada is not complying with its own obligations under international law to stop weapons shipments to Israel, as it is committing genocide and illegal occupation.
BREAKING: Canada authorized $37.2 million worth of new military exports to Israel in February, reveals @AlexCosh_.
The goods fall under an export category that includes bombs, torpedoes, rockets, missiles and other explosive devices.

Unbelievable work amidst unrelenting atrocities. Reminder that you can sign up to provide weekly & monthly donations as well 🌿 chuffed.org/project/help-us-…
Internet and cellular connection is largely restored in the North and slowly coming back online in the South. But while most of us didn’t know what was happening on the ground, our teams were hard at work continuing their service to others. chuffed.org/project/help-us-….
Translating Falasteen (@translatingpal) x The Sameer Project’s North teams continued water distributions. We delivered 107,000 liters of fresh drinking water on June 11. We don’t need anyone to see or acknowledge the work. As long as Palestinians in Gaza are benefiting, that’s all that matters.
Thank you to our community. Thank you for showing up daily with your solidarity and generosity. We are able to reach those in need because of your support. 🍉❤️

Eid Al Adha is a time of sacrifice to give to those less fortunate. We all have a responsibility to help those suffering the unimaginable in Gaza. The Eid campaign is zakat eligible. Please come together as a community: donate and share with your family and friends
The last few weeks have been filled with massacres and horrific scenes from Gaza. The occupation continues to massacre those sheltering in schools, people searching for aid, men, women, children, the elderly as they sleep - rubble collapsing on top of them. Donate here: chuffed.org/project/131676-s… . Doctors are fainting in hospitals from exhaustion and malnutrition. Children with chronic illnesses are dying from starvation. Journalists who are risking their lives to show the truth are suffering from the total lack of food.
The tragedy in Gaza is incomprehensible while the world watches in silence. The genocide needs to end and the borders need to open but until that happens we need to continue to assist, to help people survive.
The Sameer Project provides food (2,000+ meals per week), water (140,000 liters per day) and tents to those displaced. We also provide medical care including dental, wound changes, infectious diseases campaigns, life saving medication, and special care for complex cases.
With Eid starting this week, we urge you to use your zakat and/or sadaqa money to support the people of Gaza who are still suffering after 19 months of genocide. Goods are scarce and war profiteering supported by the military occupation is at an all time high, so we need to do a big push and scale up efforts over the next week to prevent further deaths and illnesses.

When folks respond to every act of violence by the oppressed with “I condemn”, it reproduces liberal notions of who has the right to be free. It legitimizes the idea that those living under oppression must wait until their oppressor sets them free. Which is of course the point.

ALT We were told that violence in itself is evil, and that, whatever the cause, it is unjustified morally. By what standard of morality can the violence used by a slave to break his chains be considered the same as the violence of a slave master? By what standards can we equate the violence of blacks who have been oppressed, suppressed, depressed and repressed for four centuries with the violence of white fascists? Violence aimed at the recovery of human dignity and at equality cannot be judged by the same yardstick as violence aimed at maintenance of discrimination and oppression. An invitation, a reminder:
This auction isn't for bidding on the value of books. It's a generous opportunity to donate the maximum we can afford to keep Palestinians in Gaza connected to each other & the world, through desolating genocidal siege.
We can give accordingly 🙏🏼🪨🌱
More than 100 Canadian writers have donated autographed and special editions of their books to Authors for eSims for Gaza, an online auction. app.galabid.com/authors4esim…

Art can be a form of expression, of inner thoughts and feelings, of experiences, an outlet to let out emotions. Our art teacher Anas, who joined us at The Refaat Alareer Camp educational tent, now teaches students in the North 4 days per week. He goes to different schools and camps, teaching students the basics of drawing and supplies them with paper and coloring pencils so foster their imagination and creativity.
Some of the children’s drawings have similar themes…happy homes, daily life (water tanks and drones), and Palestinian pride. These beautiful children are talented and smart, but deserve to be in school and using their imagination as other children do. Not documenting the horrors they have gone through. But being able to draw is cathartic, helpful, a form of therapy.
Help us serve these children and give them the chance to express themselves. Donate to the North campaign: chuffed.org/project/help-us-…

The children of Refaat Alareer camp took a field trip to purchase plants for the camp. They planted mint, basil, jasmine, camomile, peppers and some flowers to decorate the camp. Support the camp here: chuffed.org/project/113327-r…
They will also be growing a large amount of molokhye in the Refaat Alareer camp, which will be ready in 20 days. The amount is enough to feed the camp in small quantities for a week or so. Molokhye is a traditional Palestinian dish that is composed of leaves crushed into soup-like texture made with garlic and is usually served with chicken and rice. The leaves can be preserved for long periods of time without refrigeration.
Gaza is extremely fertile and can grow enough crops to sustain most of its population. However, with the genocide, farmland has been destroyed and a lot of the soil has been infected with chemicals. Another challenge is finding space and enough water to grow. This won’t stop us though and we will continue to persevere in any capacity possible.
Donate to the Refaat Alareer camp projects that support its residents and other camps: chuffed.org/project/113327-r…
