I’m down for whatever this Pioneer Trail thing is but no one is ever going to sit here, inches away from certain death as cars blow past.
Construction on the first phase of the Pioneer Trail in SLC is already underway, which includes more than just a new path around historic sites. New market space and a restaurant added to Council Hall are also being planned, project officials say: ksl.com/article/51638753/new…

Utah's vote by mail system is simply incredible. Fast, easy, secure and I get text updates every time my ballot is on the move. This is the future. 🗳️

Since 2020, I’ve organized a free annual ghost tour in SLC around Halloween. I wrote about how that happened, my interest in folklore, and the struggle between fact and myth. Read more 👇🏼 shortmuse.substack.com/p/bec…

I'm seeing people look down on Dungeon Crawler Carl on this app and THIS IS WHY LITERACY IS AT AN ALL-TIME LOW. Not everyone wants to read The Power Broker by Robert A. Caro and that's OK! At this point I will be happy if a 35-year-old man is reading Goosebumps consistently.

I met up with coworkers who live in SF and NYC and they all told me they LOVED visiting SLC, specifically citing the food scene as being "incredible" and the culture as being "more diverse than you might think."

As a new homeowner in Utah, I've struggled to think of what could be built next to my house that I would balk at. It's a short list and a new apartment building is not on it.

Don't make assumptions about people you don't know, buddy. I advocated in favor of a "high-density low income housing" (30% AMI) that was built within a block of the house I owned. My property value still rose.

I wrote about my dream to own a cabin in my favorite place: Teton Valley. For now, it’s still just a dream. But if my Substack takes off maybe I can make it a reality 🤞🏼😉 Please subscribe and share! shortmuse.substack.com/p/my-…

People want to live within walking distance of a grocery store but they don’t tell you that once you do, there will be Sundays where you go 4x because you keep forgetting things
