I voted against Council’s proposed water rate hike. Our water system needs work, but 74% in four years is too much, too fast for families already facing a potential MASSIVE property tax increase. It passed 9-6. I’ll keep pushing for affordability in November.

They spent the last 2 years telling Canadians to stop shopping in the U.S., stop travelling there, and emotionally break from the Americans over tariffs, politics, and “threats to democracy.”
Now, two weeks out from the U.S. midterms, they’re running a segment on The House about how politics is “widening the gender divide” and wrecking relationships… in America. Then they take that framing, drop it onto Canadian campuses, and ask if the same thing is happening here
