Long Island doesn’t need more partisans. It needs more accountability. I’ll be calling out hypocrisy, incompetence, and cowardice — on both sides.

According to @VoteHub, Laura Gillen #NY04 is projected to win re-election with 56.8% of the vote. In 2024, she flipped the district with 51.2%, following a sex scandal by D'Esposito. IMO this is too generous and Gillen will get more like 53-54%. Easy but not totally safe. (1/2)

For reference. Zeldin won the district but Trump lost it. (2/2)

Other than Ramaswamy doing it to himself in Ohio, what other October surprises have we seen across the country for any race? #octobersurprise

Joe Cairo shoving out every last dollar for Bruce in the hopes that he creates a down ballot effect for all of the state, town supervisor and county legislature races. Dems dont have that kind of money so Jay Jacobs entire plan is just hope the even year turnout is enough.

Bruce Blakeman, who's doing something similar, got $2.4M from the Nassau County Republican Committee this month

The real comparison is to the 2022 numbers. Dems were staying home then. They aren’t anymore. Republicans can thank Trump.
Citywide, we are at 108.6% of Day 1 of early voting in 2025, 61.5% of Day 1 of early voting in 2024, and 173.4% of Day 1 of early voting in 2022. Let’s keep it going, New York City!

$442m to buy our elections and it constitutes just 0.045% of Elons wealth. That’s the equivalent of the median American household spending $92. If you can’t see the problem with this then I don’t know what to tell you.

Alleged campaign finance violation by a nonprofit org and a Dem assemblywoman. Worthy of investigation and at the very least represents a very stupid move by this nonprofit and whomever may have coordinated with them. Unclear if this has legs and will affect the race.
This morning, I notified the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, and commissioners of the state and county Boards of Elections, about “Pay-for-Play” Rebecca Kassay. Kassay spent her last campaign hammering her predecessor over his disbarment. Now a nonprofit, to which she steered $15,000 in taxpayer money, threw her a fundraiser. She needs to stop hiding and answer for this.

Makes sense when Long Island is the most rent burdened region in NYS. But most of these towns and villages have insane payrolls and exist as jobs programs for party loyalists on both sides.

Voters will keep it that way!
What do @TheMikeLiPetri and George Santos have in common? They both spent more years running for office than actually serving in office. LOSERS of #NY03!
