Thank you for standing for liberty, individual rights, and a government that respects the people it serves.
And to every Libertarian candidate who stepped forward, put their name on the ballot, and carried the message of liberty into their communities: thank you for running. Your courage, time, and dedication make this movement stronger.
Election Day may be over, but the work of building a freer future continues.

Here are the numbers from Kent, which is one of the most populous counties in Michigan.
The results are clear and the opposite of the conventional narrative.
People did split their tickets, but they did so to vote AGAINST Mike Rogers. El-Sayed beat the straight-ticket margin.

If you haven’t voted yet, polls are open.
This is about who decides for your kids: you, or the same system that keeps growing and still isn’t working. Schools are a means. They are not education.

The Community Deserves Debates. Voters Deserve Answers.
Libertarian candidates called for a Capital City debate featuring local state House and Senate candidates so our community could hear directly from everyone about the issues that affect our lives. We were told that the Democratic and Republican candidates declined to participate.
Why are they unwilling to debate? Voters deserve the opportunity to hear candidates explain their positions, defend their voting records, and answer tough questions. A debate should be an opportunity to earn the public’s trust, not something to avoid.
In my own race, my Republican opponent is 84 years old, and my Democratic incumbent has a voting record that raises serious questions, including a vote on legislation concerning whether certain convicted child sex offenders could work in settings involving children. These are important issues that deserve public discussion, transparency, and accountability.
Sadly, too many voters head to the polls without researching their local candidates or understanding how their elected officials vote. We cannot make informed decisions if candidates refuse to show up and answer questions.
And here is something every voter should understand: You do not have to vote for one political party from top to bottom. You can vote Libertarian for one office, Democrat for another, and Republican for another. Your vote belongs to you—not a political party.
This is bigger than red versus blue. It is about accountability, transparency, and giving voters real choices.
We need open debates. Our community deserves to hear from every candidate, compare their positions, and decide for themselves who has earned their vote.
Voters deserve answers. Candidates should be willing to provide them.

🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃
As our children enjoy Halloween, let’s remember something that should matter every single day: PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN.
Before you vote, do your research. Know your candidates. Look beyond party labels and pay attention to their voting records.
On HB 5425, Representative Emily Dievendorf voted among the minority of just nine legislators, while a bipartisan majority of Republicans and Democrats voted the other way on legislation concerning whether individuals convicted of certain child sex offenses should be permitted to work in settings primarily serving children.
This raises an important question:
Why did our District 77 representative vote this way?
Our community deserves an explanation. Parents deserve transparency. And our elected officials must be accountable for their votes.
I believe protecting children should always be a priority, regardless of political party.
Let’s have an honest conversation about the TRUTH, THE FACTS, AND THE VOTING RECORD.
Your voice matters. Your vote matters.

I am the Libertarian candidate for the United States House of Representatives for Michigan’s 5th Congressional District in the 2026 election. I accepted the Libertarian nomination because I believe voters deserve a choice beyond the two major parties and a representative who is committed to defending individual liberty and constitutional government.
As a Libertarian, I believe government should be accountable to the people it serves, exercise only those powers granted by the Constitution, and respect the rights and freedoms of every individual. I support policies that expand personal liberty, encourage fiscal responsibility, and reduce unnecessary government interference in the lives of peaceful Americans. These principles have long been the foundation of the Libertarian Party and are why I chose to seek public office as its nominee.
If elected, I will work to represent the people of Michigan’s 5th District with integrity, independence, and a commitment to protecting the constitutional rights of every American. I believe Congress should be focused on serving its constituents, exercising responsible oversight, and preserving the freedoms that allow individuals, families, and businesses to thrive.
