Big 4 bank profits were up 700% in first half of this year compared to 2020, so I’ve just asked the Chancellor to introduce a windfall tax on banks’ excess profits, to fund support for households struggling with energy & housing costs If you agree he should please RT! 🙏

Some are now checking the numbers. Checks so far, out of 98 Tory MP twitter accounts, only 28 have "Conservative" in their bio or header art!!! So far 70% of them have deleted any reference to their own political party #ToriesDeletingTory Will bring updates. Please RT

Daniel: I live in the Netherlands. We have too many tomatoes! We used to export them to the UK but it now takes a truck driver 77 hours of queueing to take tomatoes to the UK and all truck drivers simply refuse. So now we have cheap abundant tomatoes here in the Netherlands.

If Ofgem don’t bring bills down then a total of 8.4 million people in the UK are expected to be living in fuel poverty from April 2023. Meanwhile seven (7!) oil companies made a total of £150bn profit in just 9 months. Please don’t call it a crisis. It’s a scandal.

Wholesale Gas has just crashed to a new low. Just 150p per therm compared to 702p in August. An energy boss who’s company made £20 billion profit last year today says high energy bills are here to stay. We must fight back. This is a rip off.

France has passed a law to require every large car park to also be a solar panel farm. The Tories are busy banning onshore wind & solar farms in fields. The decision to double your energy bill was a political choice.
