IAF DOES NOT operate FOR or IN "UP defence corridor" The few Kiran Mk2 that fly out of AFS BKT Lucknow are for radar training of Fighter Controllers in AFS Memaura. Neither AFS BKT or AFS Memaura or the Kirans connected to UPDC So "wannabe fighter pilot" is NOT right!

BKT is an airforce station not connected to the "UP Defence Corridor". AFS BKT has been in location since 1966 and has nothing to do with the "UP Defence Corridor". The Kiran Mk2s in BKT fly as AD radar targets for fighter controller training at Memora.

U-707 in chief's video is a Kiran Mk-1 intermediate jet trainer at Hakimpeth air base/academy & has amassed 8500 hours of training flying. In this role, Iskra aircraft unfortunately retired much earlier, on reaching only 3500 hours. Kiran Mk-2s of IAF operate in UP defence corridor for another role & have completed appx 4500 hours each so far.
