Today, we held a mediation meeting with Yalelo Gulu City branch and Gulu City Fish Vendors, chaired by City Mayor H/W Labeja Julius Acire to find common ground that works for everyone, the Yalelo, the Gulu City Fresh Fish Vendors, City Council and the consumers. The discussion centred on wellbeing, harmony and rebuilding a better working relationship between the two parties. Both sides agreed to work together, address concerns as they arise and find practical solutions to issues that may affect the final consumer. As Laroo-Pece Division, Gulu City, we remain open to investors and businesses. Their presence creates jobs, generates revenue, boosts economic activity and contributes to the growth and wellbeing of our people. At the end of the day, we need each other.
