I have no idea what lucrative assignments you’re talking about. AAP has never funded anything I have ever done! They have come onboard as Govt partners by giving adverts for the women achievers, that too under NGOs I’m simply associated with. People in charge of that are currently in the BJP, btw. And as per your logic, every event the BJP govt funds in Delhi is a lucrative assignment for someone! 🙄🤔
You have organised many programmes funded by Aap on Aap .Those are the lucrative assignments I was talking about .

Ms Ilmi, you are getting personal since you have no merit to your argument. My comment was about the article’s premise: fix our own house before judging Bangladesh’s. As for your allegation about AAP funding me, that is a serious claim! Please share your evidence or withdraw it. But going by your parties standards, it’s common for you people to make outrageous claims & spread fake news with zero regard for the law! I have never been funded by AAP for any work. As an individual and an activist, I support any party when I think it is right, and I have criticised and disagreed with AAP too. You have to toe your party’s line as its national spokesperson. The rest of us don’t! Ankita Bhandari’s parents were detained at India Gate last week for protesting by Police that follows the BJP's orders. That is the autonomy I’d start with!
You have zero credibility Aap funds your events and gives you lucrative assignments. You do silly little festa kind of things when you fawn over the Aap leaders . I have attended a few during Kejriwal CM days India is not crappy. The crap is in your mind . We are talking about Neha Bora’s support for Bangladesh Gen Z. And Neha lives in India Ms bright spark .. Btw did your bosses tell you that India is the fastest growing economy is the world . Read the last part of the article .

It was Modi who agreed to reduce tariffs on American goods to zero. It was Modi who committed to buying $500 billion worth of American goods. It was Modi who had agreed to stop buying Russian oil because Trump asked him to. But according to some it’s the opposition and CJP who are being controlled by foreign powers.🤦🏻‍♂️

In 2011, then Gujarat Chief Minister Thiru @narendramodi avl said that if his hands were not tied, he would have gone to Delhi and waged war against the central government. Thiru Narendra Modi avl made this statement in response to the police crackdown on the peaceful anti-corruption campaign led at Ramlila Maidan, Delhi. In my opinion, what the Hon PM said then was absolutely right, and there is nothing wrong about it. Today, you could be jailed indefinitely; your surety bonds could be rejected; and, surprisingly, a Special Executive Magistrate will play circles around you when he/ she is empowered to deal with preventive bond cases. If you question the violation of due process of law in a democracy, you would be called names, and a barrage of attacks would follow, including being labelled a Foreign Agent. Ever since I asked the Central Government to speak with the protestors during the NEET exam protests, I have faced constant attacks, but I let them pass because I felt it was important to focus on the issues on the ground in Tamil Nadu. I also, in a way, enjoyed this as it would quickly remove the tag of me being a BJP B Team and sent to TN as a Dhurandhar 😍 Yesterday during a press meeting, I questioned the Delhi Police’s methods of detaining protestors of CJP. Since yesterday, the attacks have resumed, as expected. For some in the BJP, let me make this categorically clear, in case you have selective amnesia: I left the BJP on June 5, 2026. As I mentioned yesterday, I might not agree with the tactics of the CJP, and I think many of theirs are misguided. But if you ask me whether they have a right to oppose/argue/protest on an issue that they think is important? I would categorically say - YES. So, I would like people to ask the questions again, even if it makes some of them uncomfortable, and I wish the Central Government would answer them instead of resorting to whataboutism. 1.How was Jantar Mantar denotified as a protest site as per a standing order of the Ministry of Home Affairs after a letter was handed over by CJP seeking permission to conduct a protest? 2.How long can we have a system that gives powers to an Asst Commissioner of Police as a Special Executive Magistrate who rules over whether to keep someone in preventive detention? The ACP of Delhi Police stands over the trial where Delhi Police is the complainant against the accused CJP. Now you know which way the wind will blow. 3.On October 19th, why did the Special Executive Magistrate, aka ACP of Delhi Police, deliberately arrive late for the bail hearing of those who were arrested from Jantar Mantar on October 13th and recuse himself, saying there is a threat to his life? Is this some kind of a joke? 4.Why were 8 sureties rejected, and why was the person who came for surety subjected to cross-examination by the Special Executive Magistrate? 5. Any action taken on pellet gun usage by the Delhi police or other actions on Delhi police who have violated the standard operating procedures against the protesters during the NEET fiasco stir? Has no BJP karyakarta in Delhi violated any bond conditions during the previous Congress and AAP governments. I trust the same Delhi police were then also when barricades were jumped and orders disobeyed? How were they dealt with then? Like this? Definitely - NO. Now I hear that the detained functionaries of CJP were released by SEM after the case reached the High Court. I also recently saw a cockroach effigy burned as part of the Dusshera celebrations. Out of curiosity, I tried to find out who is giving this free publicity at a National level. No surprises here. It was led by a BJP MLA, Ashok Goel. My question again is: is the BJP opposing the CJP or giving it free publicity? Does it want the opposition votes to split by making CJP a bigger player? At this rate, the CJP couldn’t have asked for a better PR team, even if it had paid for one! (1/2)

These views are unacceptable and must be condemned. Equally, his trial must happen without delay.

Whatabouttery is BJP’s favourite pastime! They perpetually live in the past.
#WATCH | Kolkata's Chorbagan Sarbojanin Durga Puja stampede incident | West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari says, "Everyone is well aware of the role of the previous government in similar incidents that occurred in the past. Some are attempting to politicize this, but it will be to no avail. I have met with the families of the deceased, and they have explicitly stated that they have full faith in the Chief Minister and the government... The PMO also requested a report from the Chief Secretary, which we have submitted. The Prime Minister has announced relief and compensation. The central and state governments are working together on this..." He also says, "In 2025, two more incidents occurred—during the Puja season, 13 people lost their lives due to electrocution amidst the rains. What was the Chief Minister’s role? Did she visit any of the affected families? A sudden, devastating flood struck North Bengal; 100 people perished, from the hills of Darjeeling to Nagrakata..."

Hahahahaha!! This is the same man who used to do Havans in his office while serving as MSME minister. Maybe he thinks that’s the way to become developed.

RSS-BJP used Bollywood cowards since 2009 to the fullest, and shut them up (most of them) in 2014 for ever. The spineless lot ran and hid in their holes, only to emerge once in a while for photoshoots with Mahamanav, and to lend their social media handles for propaganda.

Public cannot access the public park, and other public spaces! Okay, then.
#WATCH | Delhi: DCP PRO Neha Yadav says, "On October 16, 2026, the CJP issued an appeal to the general public via social media and a press conference to gather at Central Park in Connaught Place at 5:00 PM, carrying the national tricolor flag. The Aam Aadmi Party has also urged its workers, supporters, and the general public to join this protest and attend in large numbers. Given the current security and law-and-order situation, a prohibitory order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) is already in effect in Connaught Place and its surrounding areas, aimed at maintaining peace and order and ensuring the safety of individuals as well as public and private property. The NDMC has informed the Delhi Police, via a formal letter, that Central Park will remain closed on October 16 and 17 due to administrative reasons. The NDMC has further requested the Delhi Police to make appropriate security arrangements for this significant and sensitive public park and to prevent any unauthorized individuals from entering. Various trade and market associations in and around Connaught Place have submitted requests seeking protection for their shops and establishments against disruptive elements and unlawful gatherings. They state that such activities are adversely affecting their businesses, particularly during the current festive season... Delhi Police appeals to protesters and the general public not to participate in any gathering that violates the orders issued under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), which is currently in force. Appropriate legal action will be taken against those who violate these orders. The Delhi Police urges everyone to refrain from disrupting the peace and order established in the area and to avoid creating a situation that could hinder the operations of local businesses and shopkeepers. However, the Delhi Police may consider making arrangements to permit a select group of individuals to gather at a suitable location for the purpose of carrying the national flag and singing the national anthem."

Businesses do not suffer because of peaceful protests. They suffer when the govt decides to shut down an entire city, suspend internet services and restrict the movement of its own citizens and turn the city into a war-zone. Since its inception, the Cockroach Janta Party has maintained that we will always follow Gandhi’s path of peace and non-violence, and we have stood by that commitment. We have organised protests in Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bengaluru and Nagpur, and every single one of them has been peaceful. I was personally assaulted in Jaipur, but even then, I chose not to retaliate because responding to violence with violence goes against everything we believe in. We would rather exercise the rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution, drafted under the leadership of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, than resort to physical force. Our strength comes from our commitment to constitutional values, and no amount of provocation will make us abandon them. Despite this, there are constant attempts to portray us as anarchists simply because we refuse to remain silent. But demanding answers from the govt is not anarchy, protesting against injustice on the streets is not anarchy, and questioning those who hold public office is certainly not anarchy. These are the most fundamental expressions of democracy. The very party that is in power today spent decades organising protests, taking to the streets and questioning the governments of the day when it was in opposition. Had the same restrictions, intimidation and police crackdowns been used against them, many of those who occupy positions of power today might never have reached where they are. It is deeply hypocritical to celebrate protests as a democratic right when you are in opposition and treat the same act as a threat to public order when you come to power. We are not asking for privileges or special treatment. We are simply asking to exercise the rights that belong to every citizen of this Republic, irrespective of which party is in power. So let us fulfil our duty as citizens of this country by questioning those we elect, demanding accountability and speaking up whenever we witness injustice. A govt that has been elected by the people is bound to listen to the people, not silence them. Democracy does not end once the votes have been counted.

What nonsense is this?! Now who is causing inconvenience to the public?
New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) issues a public notice announcing the closure of Central Park, Connaught Place, for the general public on October 16 and October 17, due to administrative reasons.

In other democracies, journalists question the Prime Minister. In India, journalists question the opposition, the Prime Minister questions the opposition, the public questions the opposition, but nobody questions the Prime Minister. But trust me, India is the biggest democracy in the world.
