A community in Barkin Ladi Plateau State has told the Nigerian military to leave their community, accusing the soldiers of protecting the killer Islamic Fulani terrorists instead of protecting the people being killed.
Imagine a situation where citizens who desperately need security have lost confidence in the very soldiers deployed to protect them.
When communities begin asking the military to leave, the government must take these accusations seriously and investigate what has gone wrong.
Nigerians deserve protection, not abandonment. The military must protect innocent citizens and confront the terrorists responsible for these killings.

🚨In December 2022, Ilhan Omar traveled to Somalia and met with its leaders.
According to the Republic of Somaliland’s former Minister of Information, she shared classified details from a House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting.
She served on that same committee and pressed Somalian leaders to act against Somaliland before relations between the Republic of Somaliland and the United States grows stronger.
Months later on 6 February 2023, the Las Anod conflict erupted. Hundreds were killed and thousands displaced in a move that sought to destabilize Somaliland -but failed.
This is how a foreign agent operates.
This is not the first time that Ilhan Omar created animosity between Somalis. She was heavily involved in the conflict that took place in Las-anod. In December 2022, she visited Garowe, where she leaked information to some of the Somali leaders pertaining a meeting between the President of Somaliland and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Congress, which she was a member by that time. She was very persistent and urged the Somalian leaders
to take proactive actions against Somaliland as soon as possible. A month after this, the Las-anod conflict broke out.
She was certainly one of the main characters who created hatred and division among Somalis.
So it is time for Ilhan to be held accountable for her wrongdoings.

In Niger State, Muslim jihadists entered a majority Muslim village while hunting for Christians. They told the Muslims they were not the ones they were looking for. They told them to leave, to get out of harm’s way, and to find a safe place because the hunt was for Christians. On the video they say they will not hurt the Muslims. They are searching for Christians.
This is not random violence. This is selective targeting. Muslim jihadists in Nigeria separate people by religion, spare Muslims, and go after Christians. The Nigerian government and the media hide this. They call it farmer-herder clashes, banditry, or “everyone is affected.” They do not show the videos where the attackers themselves say they are looking for Christians and will not touch the Muslims.
When the attackers tell Muslims to run and then continue searching for Christians, that is the evidence. The denial is the cover-up.
Nigerians need to wake up. The pattern is clear on the ground. The silence from those who should speak is deliberate.

ALLEGED POLICE TORTURE IN RIVERS STATE.
Chigozilem Anthony Robinson, a native of Rumuji Community in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, was allegedly subjected to torture by police officers led by one Inspector Akpan.
According to the information received, Robinson was accused of stealing a mobile phone belonging to Inspector Akpan’s girlfriend. However, he was later released after his innocence was established.
No one should be subjected to torture or inhuman treatment over an allegation of crime.
Our Rivers State Director, Adebayo Steve will begin providing updates on this case from tomorrow as we seek justice for Chigozilem Anthony Robinson.
We call on the relevant authorities to investigate this allegation thoroughly and ensure that anyone found culpable is held accountable in accordance with the law.
