No words needed for Villa in the dressing room tomorrow. No win there in 5 years, last year's aberration to avenge for and a chance to leave United in the bottom 3.
Massive chance, like Spurs away before the last break, to get back on the horse.

Jude Bellingham made 44 appearances for Birmingham City, while Jobe made 26.
Amadou Onana has already made more appearances for Aston Villa than the two of them combined (72).
And he barely plays for us 😂

🇳🇴 Last night, at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, RB Leipzig Women's player Andrea Norheim waited for Erling Haaland in the tunnel after the game.
Norheim and Haaland were team mates at Bryne FK, where she was the only girl in the boys team.
They go way back. ❤️💙

#AVFC to extend Unai Emery's contract beyond 2029. Led by Nassef Sawiris, the plan is to also renew the contracts of Emery's key football executives, Roberto Olabe and Damian Vidagany. Villa had informed Emery of their intentions to renew his contract some time ago, with the 55yo happy at the club. Story @TheAthleticFC

37 years ago today, David Platt announced himself to the nation live on ITV, with a terrific brace in Aston Villa’s 6-2 win over Everton.
Both of these goals are pure class.
The next day, Bobby Robson gave Platt his very first England call-up.

Aston Villa held an important working meeting today to plan the club's future and lay the foundations for its long-term sporting and institutional project.
The meeting brought together Nassef Sawiris, the club's Chairman and Unai Emery alongside President of Football Operations Roberto Olabe and Director of Football Operations Damián Vidagany.
The discussions focused on jointly planning the club's long-term strategic direction, with positive discussions establishing a clear commitment beyond 2029 for the joint development of the club under the sporting leadership of Unai Emery based on the shared ambitions and common goal to reach excellency and keep growing during the next years.
The objective is clear: to build an ambitious, competitive Aston Villa capable of taking on the biggest challenges and achievements.

Decent performance but lacked a clinical edge and made errors at crucial times. Still proud of the effort from a team only recently put together - and that needs more time to grow. This season was always going to be full of ups and downs - and I'm totally fine with that. #avfc

Two ambitious building projects. Gaudí's lot started in 1882 and still fancy their chances of finishing first.

Today marks 32 years since Aston Villa’s dramatic injury time exit in the UEFA Cup, at the hands of Trabzonspor.
Here in real time, the Turkish side get the vital away goal in the 92 min, before Villa go straight up the other end and score to rub salt in their own wounds…
