I had a nice swim Saturday evening 45 min before sunset at Branched Oak Lake, Nebraska. Water was 68 F, Air 72 F. I swam 730 strokes diagonally from the West side of a cove to a jetty on the East side, took a break and swam 600 strokes on a shorter route back. The Lake is getting colder. I’m not using a wetsuit yet. Perhaps when it drops to the low 60s F. A couple of years ago I swam about 380 strokes across the cove w a shorty wetsuit when the water was 47 F. The next day on Thanksgiving the water was 43 F and I swam 140 strokes out and back wearing only a shorty wetsuit, When I turned around to swim back i looked at the waves and the shore, I thought to myself, I hope I didn’t swim out too far. I did the 47 F swim the following Spring. I’m starting to realize these are accomplishments I may never achieve again. These for me might have been peak performances, open water swimming over cold, deep water. Why do I do this? It’s fun, there’s an element of risk, and the joy of being immersed in Nature. Seeing the sky, the sun. sometimes the moon, the water, the waves. seagulls, pelicans. dragonflies, fish jumping. It’s a bit of a rush.

Polish MEP Dominik Tarczyński is explaining what is happening right now at Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal, calling it nothing less than a COUP D’ÉTAT! “In Poland, we have a liberal-left government led by Donald Tusk, who is the Prime Minister. What is happening right now with the Constitutional Tribunal is that they want to take it over and fill it with their own people. Why? Because they want to get rid of the Polish currency, bring us into the eurozone, and eliminate our secure borders. They are being pushed by the Germans, who want to spread the burden of illegal migration and send migrants to Poland. First of all, the Polish złoty is our constitutionally protected currency. They have to change the Constitution to replace it, and without the Constitutional Tribunal, they cannot do that. So, number one, they want to get rid of our currency and force us to adopt the euro and join the eurozone. Then they want to take our gold reserves, the largest in the European Union, to Frankfurt, to the European Central Bank, which is a German-based institution. They also want to open our borders. And they want to make sure that when they lose the next elections, which are coming next year, the Constitutional Tribunal will be unable to do anything to stop their actions or reverse what they have done. There are many more reasons, but I want you to understand one thing: they are under German influence. They are globalists, and we are fighting not just for Poland, but for Europe. Be like Poland. Be strong. Our nation is strong, and we are going to win this fight!”

In 1983, Jack Nicholson kept John Candy out until 5 a.m., getting him absolutely wrecked. Candy stumbled onto the Splash set and told Ron Howard: “Look, I’m drunk. Here’s what happened. I’m at the bar, Jack Nicholson’s at the bar… and he knew my name, Ron! Kept buying me drinks”

Here’s a story for you. We started filming without owning the title and had to do alternates. Taft Broadcasting owned the title Ghostbusters as part of their half-hour sitcom starring Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker (F-Troop) and a gorilla chasing ghosts. I had never heard of it. They didn’t have proton packs or Bill Murray. Columbia paid $500,000 to buy the name, but they really should have paid Dean Martin, from whom I first heard the term. In the film Scared Stiff (1953), he and Jerry Lewis (check out his acrobatic stair descent) are in an old haunted castle, and Lizabeth Scott asks Dean: “Who are you guys?” And Dean answers: “You’ve heard of Trustbusters and Gangbusters, we’re Ghostbusters!” For my research writing the first movie, I watched every single ‘ghost’ comedy ever made. Bowery Boys, Hope and Crosby, Abbot and Costello, Martin and Lewis all did such films. Happy Halloween 2026.

Next is the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which will delegitimize Presidential elections altogether by handing control to CA and NY which freely allow illegal aliens to vote.

I am not worried one bit. I think the right is quietly resolved and voting in higher numbers than we realize. Keep the faith.

I make it a rule to never vote for someone who hasn’t gotten over high school yet. Make him cry, Michigan!
El-Sayed went on this bizarre rant against Pete Hegseth -- claiming that Hegseth "rode the pine" in "whatever sport he played" in high school. He invoked Hegseth's mother (moms are fair game now, huh?), and claimed she was "the type" who would have worn her son's jersey to games. *Hegseth was an all-state point guard in high school in Minnesota, set various school records. He played college ball and got some floor time in the 2001 NCAA tournament. El-Sayed played club lacrosse at Michigan.* Here's El-Sayed's animosity-filled diatribe against Hegseth: "You know he would have rode the pine. He probably got to start 2 games his entire career, playing whatever sport it was." "His parents came and cheered so hard for him." "Bro, I feel bad for you. Somebody told you you're a lot better than you really are." "There's something about being a brown kid whose parents...no matter what you do you're never enough." "For him, the very fact that he made the team: his mom was making cake, she was wearing his jersey, she had a cap made for him. You know the type."

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work. My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

Branched Oak Lake water temp was 59-61 F. Air 70 F. Wind from the East 13 mph. I swam 445 strokes across a cove warmed up 20-25 minutes and swam back looking up at the blue sky and the evening sun. There’s something wonderful and romantic being in the water under the sky immersed in Nature.

We are approaching the point where Dem party officials can plan any sort of criminal conspiracy or enterprise so long as their conversations begin with "Meet me in D.C. so we can start planning."

I had a dream this morning. There was a wall or exhibit w some boring patterns and water cascading in drops. I heard someone had said Helen Keller said it looked better w the water dropping and perhaps w lighting changes . I’m not certain on that last part Then a political figure appeared theatrically in a white shirt and dress pants being soaked in drops which looked like rain. And then he made a face like he was crying, but it was an act and he said “the Lion will always love you” to no one in particular It reminded me of Narnia. I said something complimentary about him acting in a play w two onlookers . He ignored me which I thought was a little rude.

Read the Ninth Circuit's "deliberate ignorance" jury instruction (4.9?), and the case (Jewell) upon which it is based. If you don't "intend" for them to violate 611, for what other purpose are they being provided a ballot? Remember that Pattern Jury Instructions are written and approved by .... the Judges.
Can only aid & abett a violation of 611 if you know the person receiving the ballot is, in fact, not entitled to vote; you had specific intent to help them violate 611; & they, in fact, violated 611. And each of these elements must be established beyond a reasonable doubt.

I’m disappointed w Mary Peltola. The fact the @nytimes has broken the story about the “decoy Dan Sullivan” who was recruited to run to take away votes from incumbent U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan makes me think a lot of “very important people” like the current Senator. I could be wrong.
I’m disappointed w Mary Peltola. I know the native people of Alaska were very proud of her when she was elected to Congress. She should have said no to efforts to find a decoy Dan Sullivan to put in the ballot.

Rant: Got last minute travel today, so won't be doing a Democracy Files drop today. But saw that the person at the center of the files posted about "unimaginable horrors." Let me tell you why I got interested in "democracy" in the first place. I've told this story many times, but here again: I was DOGE adjacent from the very beginning. I was recruited by several DOGE teams in January 2025, because I was excited about the opportunity to finally cut spending and taming the national debt. Bu then - Tesla Takedown protests happened. People got so worked up that they were firebombing innocent Tesla owners. A viral website with a Molotov cocktail cursor prominently featured my husband's address. I was doxxed in the middle of that, and forced to flee the state and homeschool my children. That's when I started researching and writing UNELECTED. I quickly found the groups organizing and funding the civil unrest were all about "democracy." It made no sense to me. DOGE wasn't overturning elections. They were cutting obviously silly awards - given our national deficit, who would object to that? Silly me! Turns out "democracy" means diffused rule by unelected people, and all that USAID money going to marginalized groups to build a "civil society" is the foundation of that. So the immune system of "civil unrest" can be activated anytime, and terrorize anyone who dares to step out of line. Such as DOGE employees. Such as me and my family. That research trail led me all the way to DemAID (now DRG), a group of ex-USAID officers. Led by you and Ro Tucci. @iamlisalogan and @SKDoubleDub33 found DemAID on video taking credit for these protests. But this isn't about me. This is about the United States. And about the dozens of countries wrecked by color revolutions. You aren't solving polarization. You are the source of polarization, because in the process of building "civil society," you are displacing people's inborn allegiances and training them up to attack the very foundations a nation are founded upon. Nor is this about revenge or anger. I'm calling on everyone to pray that no more damage is done, and that we can find a path forward that preserves our Constitutional Republic.

Here's the deal. The STATUTE involving filling vacancies SPECIFICALLY as to U.S. Attorneys is difficult to reconcile with the concept of Executive control of the federal work force under Article II. They seem incompatible, but the statute on its fact leads to the conclusion that Judges are drawing with respect to the ability of POTUS to simply name "Acting" U.S. Attorneys for whatever period he wants. Blame the outcome on the statute and how Congress drafted it. Judge Michael Seabright is NOT an "activist judge." Save that description for instances when it actually applies. Quit acting butthurt over every decision that isn't 100% in the direction of the outcome you want. The statute leads to the outcomes in all these cases. The statute has to be changed or SCOTUS has to say it is beyond the authority of Congress to give an inferior officer the prosecutorial power of the Executive AND give the Judicial Branch the authority to appoint that inferior officer in contravention of the wishes of the Executive.

We are a world at war but many fail to recognize the threat ‘cos instead of B2 bombers, tanks & nukes, they’re fighting w stolen elections, mass migration & information warfare - the most lethal weapons on the battlefield of today. Korea may seem far but the real issue here is that America’s allies are falling one by one - which leaves the U.S. increasingly isolated. Traditional allies like the U.K., France, Italy etc are being eaten alive by mass immigration as the globalists salivate. Israel has been demonized by the left & increasingly on the right, yet it is America’s most reliable ally in the Middle East. New Zealand is effectively a Marxist state. Australia is under Islamic-leftist-globalist invasion. South Africa is under Marxist-Muslim-globalist assault. Mozambique, Congo, Nigeria - all battling Islamic terrorist attacks to differing degrees. And of course the U.S. is not allowed to be close to Russia or the traitors yell “collusion”. What you see when you step back is America being more & more isolated in the world. You can stand up. Or submit. Your choice. But remember this: they’re not using B2 bombers, tanks & nukes - yet. But they will. Instead of leading with the bloodshed we recognize as war, it will come in the end to help deliver absolute power.
‼️ATTENTION ‼️ OPEN THE FILES!!! This is one of the most powerful videos I've seen, and due to what is happening right now, I am launching it. The people of the Republic of Korea NEED THE USA RIGHT NOW. Get this video in to the 10+M view count. Now is the time we all must come together for each other, regardless of distance, or Nation, to stand against our COMMON ENEMY of Election Fraud. This is life and death for millions...tens of millions...possibly hundreds of millions around this planet. There is NOTHING more important right now than to stamp this fraud out once and for all for ALL OF US. Make our collective voices heard right now by making sure everyone you know sees this. I will also post a vimeo link below for you to share on other platforms.

At least 7 Christians were killed, Monday night in south Jos, Nigeria, hours after video emerged online showing a Muslim youth parade chanting “give me AK47 to go into the infidels in Enugu, Jos, and rain fire on them while they worship”

Not a scrimmage -- a warning for what could come next in Oregon, Washington, Colorado, etc. Put 40 prosecutors in the state and turn them loose with GJ subpoena power. The 20,000 name list is more than sufficient to justify full-blown criminal investigations across all 58 counties of the state.
