#Ramayana Initial Impressions:
A hugely ambitious film mounted on a grand scale, and the effort behind it is clearly visible. The team largely stays true to the Ramayana, but the film leans more on spectacle and action than drama and emotion, leaving parts of the narration feeling flat and even serial like at times. The second half also drags in places because of where Part 1 chooses to end, with limited material stretched out through lengthy action blocks that don’t create much impact
Yash as Ravana is the biggest highlight and is superb, especially in his introduction portions. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are solid as Ram and Sita, though the divine aura and emotional weight don’t always fully translate on screen.
The visuals are stunning in parts and the money spent is clearly visible, but some scenes still have a noticeable studio/green screen feel with a few cartoonish asuras. The biggest negative, hands down, is the music. For a story like Ramayana, the score has to carry much of the divinity and emotion, but the Indian-Hollywood blend largely backfires and ends up feeling like neither apart from a few scenes.
The ambition and scale deserve a lot of applause. Definitely watchable and better than a few recent adaptations, but it falls short of the massive expectations and ultimately feels like a mixed bag with so much more potential.

Ramayana Rise of a Legend was spectacular! The visuals, the dances, the music, the action were all colossal. Ranbir Kapoor was sublime, Yash was magnetic. One of this year’s most immersive cinematic experiences. A grand spectacle!

Wow. The passion. ❤️
Met our kid’s badminton coach today. He was away for 2 days, taking his 10-year-old to a state championship.
His kid started playing badminton at 4.5 years old. No regular school. Home education. Full focus on badminton.
The goal? To represent India one day.
The father coaches his kid and a few other students to earn enough to fund this dream.
No distractions. No shortcuts. Just years of discipline, sacrifice and belief.
Some parents plan their children’s future. Some dedicate their lives to building it.
Wishing them the very best. 🇮🇳

"A few years ago, Saurav was earning millions and living a great life"
Okay @abhijeet_dipke 🤡
A few years ago, Ashu had a high-paying corporate job in London, earning millions. Saurav was writing about the country’s legal system and living a great life. Both had successful careers, financial security and every reason to continue living the lives they had built for themselves.
But they chose to give it all up in the hope of making this country a better place. They had absolutely no reason to leave behind their comfortable lives, take to the streets, face uncertainty and eventually end up in jail. Yet they did.
What I admire most about these two is that despite coming from privileged backgrounds, they chose to fight for those who aren’t as fortunate. They could have easily looked the other way, enjoyed their lives and never bothered about the struggles of people they had never even met. Nobody asked them to make these sacrifices. Nobody expected them to. But they did, because they genuinely care about people beyond themselves.
And to me, that is the greatest quality a human being can have. To stand up for people you don’t know, to fight battles that aren’t your own, and to risk everything you have so that someone else might have a better life.
That’s the kind of people Ashu and Saurav are.
Im so sorry for the loss of the scientists in that car crash next week🕊️

Dear @RahulGandhi, you have 45 days to challenge this and get your people on the rolls. Don’t send moron @Pawankhera on the last day (like in Bihar) claiming you have 89 lakh voters’ complaints, but in Congress format, not by BLAs, not through SIR forms.

No. Mangal Rang is an AR Rahman film track for the Ram-Sita wedding, with Hindi lyrics by Kumar Vishwas on their auspicious bond. It draws on Indian classical and festive wedding elements (taali, tabla/dholak, sargam).
Some hear Qawwali-like echoes in the repetitive "rang" chorus and melodic lift, similar to motifs in Aaj Rang Hai or Rahman's own Kun Faya Kun. That does not make it a Qawwali, which follows specific Sufi structures, call-response, and devotional form. Genres share tools; this remains cinematic bhakti music.

Random Sellout after receiving 1500 : Sai Pallavi’s Blouse is not good, Boycott.
There is a reason why no filmmaker invest in Indian cinema, You need audience to have a vision, here everything is Politicised.
Not Liking?? Don’t watch it, nobody is forcing you to watch, Saying it again just one tweet from their favourite leader and these sellouts will come taking credit for it’s success, Just like they did with Dhurandhar.

An actor's job is to act, it has nothing to do with his personal life or his previous movies.
This is Deepika Chikhalia who played the role of Mother Sita in Ramayana. She also used to get such photoshoots done.
But low IQ Andhbhakts will not understand this.
