Maryland fired their head coach and the team is currently 2-6 after starting the season 2-0.
Don’t get me wrong, Maryland doesn’t have the best fans, but what do they currently have to be excited about to pack the stadium???

Feels like Maryland is really the only one whoever gets any flack for this. Until the West Coast schools.
No one ever goes “Nebraska shouldn’t have left the B12 or Mizzou shouldn’t have joined the SEC, etc.”
Just annoying and tired talking points
The Maryland Terrapins are a sleeping giant.
@Coach_Eck or @CoachDickert will make the Terps a perennial CFP contender.
The best is truly ahead.

The phone is ringing off the hook with coaches begging for the Maryland job.

You don’t want what Baltimore has in store for you @Hali
These types of takes are so tired and weird.
Why are you putting a ceiling on a B1G team? A good coach changes it all.
Guess what happens when you start winning consistently?
Talented recruits want to play there, fans will come to more games, and donations will go up.
The first domino of the coaching cycle has fallen.
Maryland is a tough job in this climate. Sure, the B1G revenue is nice, but their ceiling is Illinois or Minnesota.
Many of the good DMV recruits don’t even give UMD a chance. So even though there’s a lot of talent around, they’re all going elsewhere.
