oh wow, according to Janet, Michael had already created an entire album of classical music back in 1977: “'He has a song called Iowa, that he wrote - people will never hear that song,' said Janet. 'Just before he left to film The Wiz, he put all the songs he had written on to tape in the studio in our parents' house. Not one of them has been heard and those were songs to cry for. These are the things that he's written for orchestras, that are classical music - like something by Bach or Beethoven.”

When Michael learned that a girl was terminally ill in the hospital and had only one week to live, almost immediately, the little girl's hospital room was flooded with flowers, dolls and special gifts from Michael. He even called and spoke with her by phone. It lifted her spirits so much that her life was extended for another year. The family credits Michael's intervention, love and inspiration as the reason for their daughter's precious few more months of life. It was as close to a miracle I have ever witnessed and shows so much of what the mind and a positive attitude can accomplish."

In August 1994, Delores "Dee Dee" Jackson drowned in a pool. Her death was classified as murder, and Dee Dee’s boyfriend at the time was convicted of the crime. While the world collapsed for her three surviving children, Michael stepped up to take even greater care of his nephews:
“It was around Christmas time that Michael had as his guest one of his nephews who had recently lost his mother. Since Michael was occupied in the studio, he figured this young boy needed the companionship of kids of his own age. So Michael asked his secretary Evvy to call me and ask if the three young Cardona children could come from their house in Connecticut for a few days' visit with his nephew in New York. They all came and Michael put the entire family up in a first-class hotel. While they were in New York, Michael treated all the kids to a shopping spree at FAO Schwartz. As a crowning holiday touch, Michael arranged for a Christmas party with an enormous Christmas tree, complete with Santa Claus, in huge Studio One at the Hit Factory.”

🖤 A little story from Michael Jackson’s final photo shoots.
In a July 13, 2017 interview with Paper Magazine, makeup artist Kabuki Starshine shared how he got the opportunity to work with Michael.
Bruce Weber, whom Kabuki had never worked with before, personally chose him for a L’Uomo Vogue photo shoot. It was Michael’s first photo shoot in 10 years. Kabuki was later invited back to work on Michael’s Ebony cover as well. Both would become Michael’s final photo shoots.
Before their first meeting, Kabuki was so nervous about speaking to Michael on the phone that he started hyperventilating and had to breathe into a Ziploc bag! He was told Michael would call in seven minutes, so he rushed home to escape the noise of the street. But when Michael finally called, Kabuki realized he sounded scared himself, which instantly calmed him down.
He recalled their first meeting:
“And when I met him in person, he had dark glasses on so you couldn't see his eyes. He seemed very shy, but when we started to work together, I guess he got my energy, and he was so sweet, quite considerate of me and my working process.”
