My main reason for choosing the 🚲 for my 10km commute was cost. A new Brompton folding 🚲 paid for itself within 4 months in saved PT fares.
Then I realised how fast & reliable it was compared with other modes - 35 min rain, shine or traffic.

I saw how decisions made in the halls of power hurt human beings. At one point, I had 45 students in one classroom, and there weren't enough desks for all those kids.
I remember thinking, ‘This is the wealthiest country in the world, and we've got children sitting on the air conditioning unit.’

The Prime Minister presented a special recognition award at the Pride of Britain Awards to honour the founders of Andy’s Man Club, Elaine and Luke.
In 2016, Andy Roberts, Elaine’s son and Luke’s brother-in-law, tragically took his own life at just 23 years old. The pair went on to create Andy's Man Club, a male suicide prevention charity that has grown from a single group in Halifax to more than 360 groups nationwide.
