Public executions. Net energy exporter. Gilded palaces. Humiliation at the hands of the Houthis. We've finally done it. We're Saudi Arabia.

Perfect snapshot of Twitter right now. Anon account w/ 2K followers somehow gets 340K views of his musings on voting, including none other than Chamath quote tweeting it w/ his own speculation (w/ his profile pic standing in front of the presidential seal).

I’d be embarrassed to read this about myself much less repost and celebrate it.

You actually have to appreciate how out of touch and pompous you’d have to be to double down on this take.

Last Thursday we welcomed Lloyd and Harry to meet with our warriors.
Last Thursday, we welcomed Logan and Jake Paul to the Pentagon to meet with our warriors.

Another textbook example of conflict of interest. Two years this pompous crank could say what he wanted. But now his husband is *in* the government in a politically appointed role paid by taxpayers. He doesn’t get to be the “neutral arbiter” or partisan hack he used to be.

People keep saying Trump term II is the most corrupt administration ever, so I built a model to find out if it was true. I took the UN's definition of corruption, turned it into eight criteria and 100 points, and scored the leaders history remembers for looting their countries: Marcos, Suharto, Mobutu, Abacha, Obiang, Putin. Then I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale, both parties, with every exoneration counted right alongside the convictions. Nixon scored 41 and no other American President scored over a 25. Trump's second term scored a 91, which ties him with Suharto and Mobutu and puts him above Marcos and Abacha. So he is not only the most corrupt president in American history. At this pace he finishes his term level with the most corrupt rulers of the last hundred years. PSA: don't come in my comments arguing about the results if you haven't read the full article, because ignorance is a choice. Full article is up now on my Substack (link in bio) and it's free.

Bloomberg News: “President Donald Trump has traded more securities than every member of Congress combined since he returned to office — even as he seeks to pass a stock-purchasing ban for lawmakers that would exclude him from any restrictions.” bloomberg.com/graphics/2026-…
