Druckenmiller's WSJ Op-Ed seems significant: he doesn't seem like the kind of guy to publicly critique a former colleague without having tried private, backchannel approaches first. He also does not write WSJ Op-eds regularly. Maybe it's just me, this is just my deduction.

Stanley Druckenmiller renders an unfavorable opinion of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's use of buybacks to defend against higher yields in a market that is functioning normally. "I have spent five decades trading on a simple premise: Markets aggregate information no committee possesses, and prices are how that information reaches decision makers. The long-term Treasury yield is the most important price in the world. It is also the only fiscal disciplinarian the U.S. has left." "Every basis point of artificial yield suppression is a subsidy to procrastination." "Return buybacks to their stated purpose: small, scheduled, off-the-run liquidity operations announced at quarterly refundings, never off-cycle responses to yield levels. Term out the debt honestly and pay the price the market sets." "If the 30-year must trade at 5.5% to clear, that isn’t a crisis. It is an invoice. Then do the only thing that durably lowers long-term yields: address the primary deficit." wsj.com/opinion/let-the-bond…

The revenue forecast also assumes that Amshepri, an experimental treatment for Parkinson’s Disease, will success with 100% probability of success. Here’s the problem with that: although Amshepri was granted “a conditional and time limited approval” in Japan as announced on March 6th 2026, 0% of drugs have succeeded under this controversial program.

Sumitomo Pharma targets 350 billion JPY in Regenerative/iPs revenue, including from Amchepry. The company assumes 100% probability of success (in its own disclosures), even though 92% of clinical trials fail.

CiRa, led by Shinya Yamanaka, is Sumitomo Pharma's research partner for the Amchepry program. There is a history of suspect research and fraud, particularly repeated behavior of 'image duplication concerns'. We found 2 well documented cases of fraud, but 8 that are undisclosed

I didn't envy Situational on the way up, and I don't envy on the way down. IF Situational was +400% YTD, and is now +50-100%, whats the right action? Stop loss, return $? Or double down, raise $? "Let he who knows with certainty, cast the first stone." xitter.cf/LongShortTrader/status…
There are many posts about Situational Awareness: some full of envy/doubts, others with admiration/respect… But no one is talking about how Situational is a great example of: make single fund managers great again!

MATH QUIZ DUJOUR @bryan_johnson (a.k.a. Draculino) takes 100 pills a day plus other crazy interventions. A very sad story. 1) How many possible interactions between pairs of drugs? 2) How many for 3 drugs? 3) And generalizing, how many higher order interactions (n drugs)?
HIS STOMACH IS EATING ITSELF The biohacker who spends 2 million dollars a year trying to never die just revealed a diagnosis none of his testing was built to catch. Autoimmune gastritis has no cure and was hiding in plain sight the whole time. - His own immune system is attacking the lining of his stomach - There is no approved cure, only lifelong management - It took 11 years of unexplained low iron before doctors found the cause - He had zero symptoms the entire time it was happening The most tracked human alive still could not see the thing killing him from the inside.
