Breaking into #longevity isn’t straightforward. For many students and early-career people, especially those outside traditional pathways, it's unclear where to start or how to contribute.

I ask for a tiny Birthday gift - 3 minutes of your attention and a coffee. I am 1 calendar year older than yesterday. It is the 6th of February, and I love this date because I have a lot of hugs from and wonderful conversations with my friends and family members. What I hate, though, is getting older - I want to get younger and healthier or at least remain at my current level of health. I want this option for myself, my family, my friends, and everyone in the world. That is why I have dedicated my career to the emerging longevity biotechnology industry. You can help me in this quest by doing one of the following steps: Learning more about the industry at: longevity.technology/ (@LongevityTech ) fightaging.org/ agingbiotech.info/ (by @KarlPfleger) lifespan.io/ (@LifespanNews) Donating to non-profits. Make me a gift equivalent to the price of a cup of coffee and help any of the following: thelongevityinitiative.org/ (@longevityinit) levf.org/ (@LEVfoundation) longevity.foundation/ (@longescience) lifespan.io/ (@LifespanRI) buckinstitute.org/ (@BuckInstitute) mfoundation.org/ (@mfoundation) longevityisrael.org/ (@ILAISRLA) openlongevity.org/ (@OpenLongevity) norn.group/ (@NornGroup) Volunteering or switching your career path to longevity biotechnology. We need everyone - scientists, engineers, artists, designers, storytellers, founders, investors, analysts, marketers, enthusiasts, thinkers, dreamers, organizers, inspirers, doers, and many others. There are dozens of companies, labs, and non-profits looking for people. Good places to start would be longbiofellowship.org/ (@LBF_org) vitalismfoundation.org/ (@vitalismorg) longevityxplorer.com/ (@LongXbio) Longevity floor at frontiertower.io/ (@frontiertower, @CityOfViva) Freely copying, modifying, improving, and otherwise using this or similar message when you have a birthday or other important date Liking, sharing, reposting, commenting, bookmarking, and providing feedback

Longevity looks exciting from the outside. Inside, it’s dense, technical, and hard to break into, especially if you’re young, international, or non-traditional. The Xplore Program exists to lower that barrier. Apps for the 3rd cohort open today.

It was a pleasure to host Sawsan Haider, a Fulbright Scholar at @Harvard and 2025 @LongXbio Fellow, as one of our Summer Interns this year. Her story captures exactly why internships matter: curiosity, practical learning, and cross-disciplinary growth.
