The 2nd National Guard Corps "Khartia" announced that the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted an underground counteroffensive operation - "Veles," advancing more than 15 km into enemy rear areas in the Kupyansk sector. The grouping combined the underground assault with surface actions and UAV strikes, effectively denying the occupiers the opportunity to maneuver into Kupyansk's rear. As a result of the operation, over 30 occupiers were taken prisoner, and Russian casualties exceeded 100. youtu.be/dmrd1IAJj-8?si=Tush…

Finally an attack on Russia that republican’s would support. Ukraine allegedly targeted the Russian federal tax data center in Nizhny Novograd oblast

This actually has been a pretty shocking development from last winter. Why I think Russian casualty numbers are real. Theres no reason for them to drag the war out while they their money machine gets targeted. Competent Russia assault forces don’t exist and or totally held back.
A major achievement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2026 has been stabilizing the frontline, creating the conditions for localized counterattacks while inflicting relatively high rates of attrition on Russian forces. This has been enabled by a more flexible defensive posture under the new commander-in-chief. Unmanned warfare, including mid-range strike systems, has played an important role in all of this, helping degrade Russian combat power. Recent restrictions have reduced the effectiveness of a core element of Ukraine’s defense system. Unless this is resolved quickly, Ukraine risks losing hard-won gains from 2026, not to mention the impact on its cities and critical infrastructure.

Another key factor I believe is their decentralized and ultra competitive small drone sector. They’re not in known soviet arms factories, likely all over the whole country. Why even as Russia increases attacks on Kyiv you see no battlefield affects.

But the attacks will likely affect the more long range drone and missile attacks that take more serious development with rocket engines

I’ve stopped listening to this story because every report is people blaming each other. Only a congressional investigation will find out in like 2 years
Vance, contradicting Rubio and Hegseth, suggests Musk would not have acted without White House direction. VP Vance: “I think that fundamentally, Elon Musk runs a private corporation, and I think it's completely understandable that he doesn't want to get in the middle of what is a war between two state actors /without the United States government effectively directing him on what to do./ So I don't think this is about Elon. I think it's fundamentally what is America's policy in Ukraine and Russia going to be.

lol how would anyone know about multiple secret foreign government bank accounts. Never mentions the word sue xitter.cf/jaredkushner/status/21…
.@VanityFair posted an excerpt from a book containing outrageous and categorically false allegations. The allegations made by this author are completely insane and never happened. We denied every one of these claims on the record, yet the author failed to provide a single shred of evidence to substantiate any of them. No bank statements, wire transfer records, account numbers, transaction dates, or other verifiable details were provided to support these extraordinary accusations. During the period in question, I was one of the most scrutinized people in the world, subjected to intense media coverage, multiple congressional investigations, and a special counsel investigation. I voluntarily cooperated with these investigations, providing over 30 hours of testimony. None of these allegations ever surfaced, because none of these events ever happened. These are outrageous fabrications being presented as investigative journalism. This is not journalism. It is a mixture of fantasy, fiction, and advocacy, written by someone who is either deeply disturbed or acting with sinister intent.

Even this is wrong, Maidan was about getting closer to the EU. Putin couldn’t let his neighbor achieve better living conditions
Wow. So, "Ukraine deserved to be invaded because they dared to consider joining a voluntary self-defense treaty organization" is not the slam dunk argument you think it is.

The little green men are here: a newly emerged Belarusian extremist group called “Black Rus” has claimed responsibility for the border incidents in Latvia. Masked individuals allegedly threatened Latvian soldiers, helped push migrants towards the border, entered Latvian territory, damaged electrical equipment and stole surveillance cameras. "Black Rus", which calls for the forced subjugation of Ukraine and the unification of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, has promised further sabotage operations against NATO countries. This is literally a Russian psyop/military operation.

Too hard to get in and out quickly from MRAPs so till anti drone equipment advances your just taking AT rounds that will get better + possibly penetrate. You can already see it done well with ATVs, drone detector, dismount quickly + disperse. Shoot back with shotguns
love in the age of drones the US's planned primary transport for infantry is a dune buggy Both Russia and Ukraine extensively use soft skinned vehicles but out of necessity, not choice. Should be MRAPs for all

People are like ‘but drones’. Yea these are largely offensive weapons now. A manned crewed hauling a mortar then digging in isn’t any less susceptible. These can follow your large mechanized assault giving localized fire support.

You have to think have trajectory too. Artillery can’t always hit targets just behind a hill either. Forward mortars can play a huge role in assaults

Houthi missiles caves are gonna be much more susceptible to airstrikes than Iranian ones, mostly because they aren’t concrete reinforced, have blast doors or lack the granite mountains. But likely have way more smaller ones than Iran.
