So it’s @elonmusk that made the decision? This is why we have to subpoena the DOD, Starlink and Elon to get to the bottom of this.

Washington and Jerusalem Have Learned the Wrong Lessons from Their Wars with Iran
I regret to say that neither the United States nor Israel appears to have learned the most important lessons from their previous military campaigns against Iran.
Five realities must be understood before launching another war:
1. Iran will not surrender. Even a far more intense and destructive military campaign, including strikes against critical energy infrastructure, is unlikely to force Tehran into capitulation. The Iranian leadership will not simply abandon its nuclear ambitions or ballistic missile program under military pressure. If anything, another war could further strengthen its determination to preserve these capabilities.
2. Washington and Jerusalem cannot dictate the duration of the war. Anyone who believes another military campaign can be limited to a few days is making a dangerous assumption. Iran's response is likely to be extensive and violent, potentially forcing the United States and Israel to launch additional strikes. Once this cycle begins, controlling the pace, scope, and duration of the conflict will become extraordinarily difficult.
3. There is no military silver bullet. Striking Iranian infrastructure, including energy facilities, will not magically resolve the Iranian challenge. On the contrary, such attacks could trigger massive Iranian retaliation against energy infrastructure across the Middle East, with devastating regional and global consequences.
4. Iran will have surprises of its own. American and Israeli planners should not assume that Tehran will respond only with missiles and drones. Iran could attempt to disrupt undersea communications cables, conduct unconventional operations, or even launch limited ground operations against vulnerable targets in Kuwait or Bahrain. These are potential scenarios, not certainties, but they cannot be dismissed.
Moreover, another confrontation could rapidly become a regional war, with Hezbollah, Iraqi Shiite militias, and the Houthis likely to join the fighting in one form or another. The assumption that a war against Iran can remain geographically contained is deeply questionable.
5. The global economic consequences could be severe. Another major conflict would almost certainly put substantial upward pressure on global energy prices, particularly if Iranian energy facilities were targeted and Tehran retaliated against Gulf energy infrastructure. The consequences would extend far beyond the Middle East, affecting global markets, inflation, and economic stability.
The bottom line is simple: Without a return to a diplomatic agreement, another military escalation in the Gulf increasingly appears difficult to avoid. But that does not mean another war would achieve its strategic objectives.
Even a highly destructive campaign targeting Iran's most critical infrastructure may fail to produce meaningful strategic gains. Instead, the United States and Israel could find themselves trapped in another prolonged war of attrition, with no decisive outcome, mounting economic costs, and an increasingly unstable Middle East.
The fundamental lesson of the previous campaigns should be clear: Military superiority does not automatically translate into strategic success.
Before launching another war, Washington and Jerusalem must answer a basic question: What exactly can another military campaign achieve that the previous ones failed to accomplish, and what is the exit strategy if Iran refuses to back down?
There is no kinetic solution to the Iranian challenge. Ignoring that reality risks repeating the same strategic mistakes, only at a much higher cost.

Excellent question for a special prosecutor to sort out...
Unbelievable that I even have to repost this.
Elon Musk now appears to have been thrown firmly under the bus, with Trump openly denying any involvement in the restrictions and Rubio insisting that control over both Starlink and Starshield lies with Musk.
Something Musk himself has denied.
So who actually authorised the restrictions, and why?

Everyone involved in this is desperately buck-passing, yet no one has actually rescinded the policy they're all trying to disavow

🚨 TRUMP EXPLODES AT TWO FEMALE JOURNALISTS OVER QUESTIONS ABOUT RUSSIAN SANCTIONS! 🤡🇺🇸
Instead of answering whether sanctions relief was linked to an American hostage’s release, Trump called one reporter a “dummy” and another “stupid.” Apparently, asking the president an uncomfortable question is enough to trigger a barrage of insults.
Russian sanctions were lifted, then he brags he gave nothing in return for Stephen Hubbard's release.
This happened when two women journalists repeated his own words back to him. He explodes. Twice.
REPORTER: You're saying you lifted the sanctions in exchange for his release, right, Mr. President?
TRUMP: You don't know what you're talking about.
REPORTER: But that's what you're saying.
TRUMP: You're a dummy. You're a low IQ person. You work for CNN.
Then he turns on another reporter:
TRUMP: Are you a stupid person? Who do you work for?
REPORTER: ABC News.
TRUMP: You're a stupid person, and by the way, your network is the worst of all.
Thank a journalist today.

A president who can’t handle tough questions without insulting journalists should expect even tougher ones. Calling reporters “stupid” won’t make the questions about Russian sanctions disappear. Accountability isn’t an attack - it’s part of the job. 🇺🇸

We get it. You helped make daily life hell for Iranians. Now what?
want to know why Vance looks so miserable these days?
Trump finishing off his political prospects every moment.
WH pool:
Are you negotiating with the Iranians at this point?
“No, I think we're not negotiating with. We are going to have something one way or the other that'll happen fairly soon. Most people seem to think it's after the election, and we're going to see what happens. But I will say this: what we've done with Iran is amazing. We've taken out their military and their navy, their air force, their everything. They have no money. You know what? They have one thing: inflation. They've got the worst inflation any country has seen for 50 years.”

The issue is, Trump does not understand the Culture of Iran nor probably any country outside of the US. He can also not understand that there are cultures or Ideology that do not work around Money. This is why Trump will make mistake after mistake on Iran and it feels as long as he is President, there will be no Peace unless he desperately needs it..... His Ego needs Iran to capitulate and surrender and if history thought us one thing, they wont. Trump has been led into this Trap by Bibi.. thinking he goes on a 48h Venezuela type war with Iran... and ends with a forever war he promised his base will never happen under him. Further, he let down Saudi Arabia, a long term ally by not helping them when in need with the HOuthi attacks.. the same Houthi's President Trump proudly announced a deal last year... not even worth the paper it is written on. No matter what Trump touches in regards to foreign policy.. it is a disaster and the man has no clue...not to even mention Russia
