Everybody deserves a safe place to rest their head at night, regardless of their circumstances. Yesterday’s ribbon cutting in Blackwood for the Martin McKernan Supportive Housing Community was another step towards making that a reality here in South Jersey.

The Russia smell of this Alaska fossil fuel deal was so bad that even former Exxon people bailed from the company. The smell of Russia permeates the corrupt Trump administration. ft.com/content/e9cfbfbb-e65a…

On Friday, the Board of Commissioners dedicated a new supportive housing center in their journey to reduce homelessness to functional zero. Over the last two years, construction on the $22 million Martin F. McKernan Jr. Supportive Housing Center has been ongoing near the county’s Lakeland complex to develop a 60-unit housing center that will be a place of compassion and service to help individuals get back on their feet. The multipurpose facility will be operated by the Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) and is outfitted with all the necessary amenities to support anyone experiencing homelessness. The 45,000 square-foot complex will dedicate 50 transitional units for people who need housing for up to two years as they get connected to health care benefits and other social services, which includes obtaining new licenses and other identification documents, as well as mental health support and job placement. The remaining ten units will be utilized on an emergency basis. Read More: camdencounty.com/commissione…

Thank you to everybody who came out to my 124th town hall meeting in Stratford last night, and thank you to our hometown hero Emily Balog for your service to our nation.   It's events like this, where we hold civil discussions on how your government can better work for you, that give me faith in our democracy.

Steve Witkoff, representing our country, called Putin a “humanitarian”. It will take years for our allies to trust us again unless leaders of both parties reject this continuing support of this communist leader. Putin invaded Ukraine, not evidence of a humanitarian leader

At no time was I implying anything other than removal through Constitutional means. Violence and hate have no home in our political and electoral process nor anywhere in our society. I want to be clear that I fully endorse Trump’s removal through legal methods.

I went on a Philadelphia radio show last Friday to explain my position and make my voice heard. Trump should be removed from office as a traitor as outlined in the US Constitution by impeachment or by the 25th Amendment. Period, full stop.

Through Trump’s actions and rhetoric, he has given Putin an international spotlight, an economic windfall to fund his war machine and has betrayed all of our western allies. Putin will die as one of the worst scoundrels of the millennium.

For weeks I’ve been calling Trump a traitor to this nation for aiding and abetting an authoritarian, international criminal by the name of Vladimir Putin. As a dictator of the Russian people, Putin lives and breathes as one of the greatest threats to all of western civilization.

Deepest sympathies to the family of Sgt. Christinzio.
The statement below is by Commissioner Jonathan Young in regard to the off-duty death of Camden County Department of Corrections Sergeant Joseph Christinzio. “Earlier today, the Board of Commissioners learned of the passing of Sergeant Joseph Christinzio of the Camden County Department of Corrections. Sergeant Christinzio served Camden County for over twelve years with honor, integrity, and professionalism. In a role that is often thankless, Sergeant Christinzio displayed an unwavering commitment to his profession, the individuals he served at our correctional facility, and to his colleagues at the Department of Corrections. Beyond his service to Camden County, Sergeant Christinzio was a beloved husband, son, brother, and friend. On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, we extend our sincerest condolences to his wife Lindsay, the entire Christinzio family, and his law enforcement family at the Camden County Department of Corrections.”

So tomorrow, the first tanker carrying 40,000 metric tons of Russian diesel is set to depart for the US. Let’s do the math. 40,000 tons is roughly 300,000 barrels. The US consumes about 4 million barrels of diesel per day. That means this entire tanker covers less than two hours of American demand. At the same time, the US exports around 1.5 million barrels of diesel a day—meaning this shipment is equivalent to just 4.5 hours of US exports. The voyage from Ust-Luga to US terminals takes 2.5 to 3 weeks. By the time the tanker arrives, the US will have exported over 4 million tons of its own diesel—a hundred times more than what this single tanker is delivering. So, one of the world's largest diesel exporters is buying diesel from an aggressor state just to cover two hours of domestic consumption? - Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk.
