Something I'm pretty curious about is how Apple is gonna handle bigger telephotos in the future.
Unlike many other phones, Apple is quite limited due to their individual lens covers
For example here are the differences of just larger apertures. Same tiny sensor, everything.
the new iPad mini has a new design for the camera bump
It's a lot more rounded and no longer "protected" by the metal frame around it
But the LED got a LOT larger
the thinner and light design as well as the OLED are surely tempting to upgrade my iPad mini 7 from but it still being 60Hz and also only two shitty colors are not...
Considering the much increased price is just... meh..

Do this look like a standardized test to you?
I want to punch everyone at Apple who was responsible for iPadOS27.
"iPadOS brings game-changing enhancements [...]. An intuitive windowing system [...]"
NOTHING ABOUT THIS SHIT IS INTUITIVE NOR GAME-CHANGING. It's fucking AWFUL.
I'm really curious how the new iPad mini speaker sounds... no speaker holes (which looks kinda odd tbh) but instead the display itself vibrates.
Especially when you use a folio this is gonna be interesting because I'm using my mini that way quite a lot.
The A20 Pro in the new iPad mini has a binned version with one less efficiency core but what's more crazy is that this version also has the NL cut in HALF. It only comes with one 16-core NL instead of the new 32-core. That is a crazy binning
Try calibrating them. Especially when you have an iPhone or iPad you can use them as a reference as they have INSANE color accuracy.
It's not gonna be perfect when you're not a professional but still better than leaving the shit as default settings which are always garbage
"The RTX 5070 is a borderline poverty GPU"
But sure, tell us poor people how computers work.
And of course the comments are filled with braindead DUMBFUCKS who can't stand that this is simply true.
I genuinely hate videos like this. They put a device under the most abnormal unintended conditions 99.5% of people will never experience or do, then call it “review content” by blaming the manufacturer for optimizing a device for its “intended uses.”
-Don’t bend your phone backwards
-Don’t slam the screen open and closed
-Don’t pour sand on it
-Don’t push the hinge bottom when opening or closing
-Don’t peel off the screen unless it needs pro replacement

Iphone duo fails the @ZacksJerryRig durability test even after being 5.2mm thick.
It developed green lines from the bend test.

Ouch, how long have you been in tech?
The IP rating is for the body of the phone only, not the hinge...
Second, the dust used to get an IP rating is like fine talc, not sand. NOTHING in his test is relatable to real world use. Should be marked "for entertainment purposes only"
Apple's $1,999 iPhone Duo failed JerryRigEverything's durability test. Dust got into the hinge despite the IP68 rating and the magnets could no longer hold it shut. The bend test left permanent green lines, then the inner screen died. That screen costs about $999 to replace without AppleCare+. Rough test, but pocket dust is not an edge case. The coverage is part of the price on this one.
