Had a fantastic time at #Microbio23. Enjoyed presenting some of our latest #nanobodies work, and everywhere you looked there was great science, talks and posters. Met some wonderful people, and really enjoyed seeing old colleagues again.

Great talks by colleagues @Carroll_Lab_Ox at #microbio23 about #SARSCoV2 antibody responses using nanobodies as therapeutics in virus neutralisation assays (@Luke00260), and the importance of Fc-mediated functions using ADCD (@JackMellors2) 👏🏽 @MicrobioSoc

Thrilled that the first article based on my PhD work @Pirbright_Inst is now published! Here we characterised AHSV pathology in a small animal model. Many thanks to my co-authors (none of whom are on twitter!), who all trained me in their own ways. frontiersin.org/articles/10.…

So I was cleaning out my childhood bedroom over Christmas - as you do - and came across this book with this image that I had no memory of. Maybe I was subliminally primed to get into #immunofluorescence from a young age? Made me smile anyway.

Shockingly this children’s book doesn’t list the fluorophores used, but looks like DAPI and perhaps phalloidin 488 on neurons(?)
