Hubie is one of the good ones. Commitment like this is what you’d expect from a great community servant. Had the pleasure of working with him in @cityofwatertown! #mncities

Firefighter Hubie Widmer & his wife Denice hold a map marking every MN fire department at which Hubie has taken his picture. He recently completed a 10-year pursuit, visiting all 775 of them - with 14 albums of photos to prove it. Next on KARE at 10pm #land10kstories

If any one in the Elk River area is missing a Hotwheels Car… Often taken for granted, cities jump in to keep vital infrastructure going — even if it can be a little strange at times. Good work @elkriver_mn! #mncities

We asked our Wastewater Treatment employees to compile a list of the unique items they find in our sewers. We thought you’d enjoy seeing their list of what they stumbled upon while working. Please be sure to keep all items away from our sewers that should not be in there.

Exciting news! Introducing our new K9 recruit, Winston! This dachshund may be small in stature, but he's got a nose for mischief and a big bark. Don't be fooled by his size, he's ready to take a 'bite' out of crime…or maybe just your sandwich! #AprilFools

A 🧵 worth reading. Faced with an unimaginable crisis, it was the front lines of the public service that acted quickly. We certainly shouldn’t lose sight of the tragic loss of life. But this is a good reminder to be grateful for the folks that keep us safe. #mncities

Again, a moment to pause & appreciate the cool professionalism of those in & around the Key Bridge at 1:24 am Tuesday. Ship’s pilot radios in that ship has lost steerage & will hit bridge. Someone (maritime control?) transmits urgent alert to Maryland/Balt police dispatch… —>
