Nationals manager Dave Martinez, on MLB Network, just said he’s hanging out with Kyle Schwarber in Ohio right now. As @peteabe recently reported, Nats GM Mike Rizzo recently said the Nats would try to bring back Schwarber.
Yesterday a group of construction workers were grilling up burgers and hot dogs for lunch and they asked my 3yo son if he wanted one. He gladly accepted the offer and devoured a burger. All of our hanging out around work sites is starting to pay off 🍔
Chillin’ and grillin’ Fridays should be in every company’s return to work plan. Probably #BuildBackBetter too.
Out of respect for my neighbors here in Maine, I won’t be wearing any Nationals hats and shirts in public this weekend. The AL Wild Card race is too tense (though pretty exciting!).
Haven’t tweeted in over a year, so here it goes: this AM, in a very long drive-through line at Dunkin’, a van cut in front of me. I pulled up to let the driver know I was in line. He offered to let me back, adding “sorry, it’s just all fucked up.” Respected the deep apology.
PSA... @PBSKIDS (via @MainePublic, of course!) has programming and online resources that will educate and entertain during these times. Our little guy is a little too young for TV/screens, but he's enjoyed the company and friendly disposition of Clifford.
