Demanding accountability doesn't mean acting like an unhinged fool. There's a difference between being a passionate fan who wants change and making yourself part of the problem. If home visits are your solution, maybe start with a mirror π«ͺπ§
Bless your heart, but you're arguing with yourself at this point. I never said the state of the program was acceptable. I'm saying there's a difference between holding a program accountable and acting like an embarrassment yourself. Apparently, that distinction went right over your head π
Nobody said to stay quiet or stop holding people accountable. I'm all for demanding answers and expecting better. But accountability doesn't require turning on each other, embarrassing the university, or adding to the division. You can demand change while still respecting the institution you're supposed to love. Being a fan doesn't mean blindly supporting Norvell. It means caring about FSU beyond one coach, one season, or one administration. π’
And you're absolutely entitled to feel that way. Nobody is telling you to keep buying merchandise, defending losing seasons, or accepting the status quo. Hold leadership accountable. Demand change. But there's a difference between demanding accountability and publicly tearing down your own program. You can be frustrated, disappointed, and still want to protect the university and the future of FSU. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. Go Noles. π’
How are we supposed to "act like it" exactly? Do you mean show up every Saturday, cheer on the team, buy the merchandise, defend the team online, give chance after chance after chance? I've done my part. Now it's time for @PresMcCullough to do his.
That's exactly my point. Alabama and Georgia fans can be passionate without turning on their own program, embarrassing their university, and tearing down everything around them. Holding people accountable is one thing. Destroying your own house in the process is another. I'm a Nole, not an op. π’

π― I wholeheartedly agree with him! You can have your opinions, disagree with decisions, and hold people accountable, but this was embarrassing to witness as a fan. You're not destroying Mike Norvell; you're damaging the very foundation of what FSU was built on. Some may argue that MN is destroying that legacy, but here's the thing: long after Mike Norvell is gone, Florida State University will still be standing. Actions like this do nothing but create more division and make an already difficult situation worse.
Be part of the solution, not part of the problem. You want FSU to be mentioned in the same conversation as Alabama and Georgia? Then start acting like it. You can't demand to be among the elite while pulling stunts like flying something like this over your own stadium. Have some pride in the university, the program, and the garnet and gold. β€οΈπ
