I wanted to share some of my thoughts on today's Supreme Court decision on affirmative action:
but of course, guns don’t kill people - toddlers who don’t know any better kill people (even their own mothers and brothers). what a national tragedy. – at Seattle, WA
This is the most depressing thing I read…today. Baby gates up and safety locks everywhere but the 2 yo had access to 3 loaded weapons, one of which he used to kill his mother and her 8 month fetus.

@Mariners My 10yo son took a pitch to the eye to start his first little league season this spring and instead of quitting, he came back strong and is now pitching! We’re so proud of his grit. He’ll be at Sunday’s game and I’d love to make it memorable! #SeaUsRise – at Seattle, WA

On the one-year anniversary of the Uvalde shooting, we are lifting up some of the 300+ stories of gun violence that we submitted to the Senate from pediatricians across the country. They are still just as resonant and relevant. We will keep advocating to #EndGunViolence. (1/2)

On climate change, we often assume people are either believers or deniers.
I don't like either label, because climate change is not a religion.
Instead, I prefer the 6 categories identified by @YaleClimateComm for the US. climatecommunication.yale.ed…

7: Mommy, will you put flowers on my grave?
😳
- Probably not love, mommies shouldn’t bury their babies, you’ll likely outlive me.
7: Not if I get shot by a gun at school and die. I want all pink flowers, k mommy? I love you.
