Wow, this really looks military-grade and heavy-duty, environments designed for war zones... 🤯
A new mod has dropped and it's genuinely phenomenal. Halo wars with coop... WITH FIRST PERSON.

It's also playable on steamdeck 👀
The details surrounding the capsule accident, the debris, the fire it ignited, are truly impressive; they leave me speechless. 🥺
Fire propagation and a custom haze field that works globally with the dynamic wind / grass / volumetric dust system which I'm calling "Tempest"

all work in progress

Honestly, it was foolish not to include it in Halo Infinite; instead of preserving what worked well in previous games, they chose to take a step backward. It’s not just that they failed to bring anything new to the table, it also doesn’t stand out for having anything special.
Halo 5 features a highly compelling multiplayer system, distinguished by its advanced mobility mechanics and an aggressive repertoire of moves; it feels hyperkinetic and frenetic that is what makes it special.
Regarding the campaign: the movement and "gunplay" are exceptional. However, the open world falls short due to the visual monotony of its biomes. In terms of narrative, it was an overreaction aimed at erasing *Halo 5*, which has left the saga feeling fragmented.
Multiplayer was the biggest casualty of the "live service" model. Predatory monetization at launch, network issues (desync), and a release that lacked vital features triggered a mass exodus from a title that had everything it needed to dominate the industry.
🧵 The legacy of #HaloInfinite in 2026 is that of an administrative paradox. In terms of mechanics, it features a solid core combat loop though I’m not a fan of the grappling hook, but its execution reveals poor management at 343 Industries.
The UNSC Infinity is humanity’s greatest monument in the entire Halo universe, yet 343 Industries’ handling of it was abysmal squandering its strategic potential and reducing it to a mere background element that was ultimately destroyed off-screen before the events of Halo Infini
Set in one of the most competitive and popular environments in the franchise, this is a Forerunner facility hidden within the floating forests of Installation 00; its gameplay and layout are heavily inspired by the iconic *Halo 2* maps, Lockout and Ascension.
🤯 For years, we were told that the Halo 5 campaign would never come to PC, but the community has just achieved the unthinkable. The entire story is now fully playable natively—a truly monumental milestone for us. Halo 5: Guardians has arrived on PC!

It is baffling that there are still detractors today who hate Halo 2. When was a game that changed everything, from its weapons and mechanics to its characters and enemies. Yet, these critics remain fixated on its infamous, abrupt ending and the content that was cut. #halo2
I think it would take away from the Halo experience, since at its core it has always been a first-person game which doesn’t bother me, but it is a feature that makes it unique.
Nostalgia has just undergone a radical evolution. Unlocking something that official studios never managed to achieve: the *Halo 2 Anniversary* campaign is now playable in co-op mode—all driven entirely by fans.
