@FMSQ @FMOQ @CMQ_org

75% of all gun deaths in Canada are due to suicide, yet the federal government and the NRA North focus solely on the criminal use of guns in homicide; the latter claiming victimization of lawful gun owners. It is to their advantage to steer away from any Public Health lens on gun control and the federal government is their unwitting accomplice.
New annual gun death analysis
Our latest analysis of annual CDC firearm mortality data found a major drop in the gun homicide rate while firearm suicides continue to reach all-time highs.

Congratulations to emergency physician Dr. Pat Croskerry on his Order of Canada. From the great province of Nova Scotia he taught physicians about critical thinking - and in particular cognitive errors that can lead us astray while seeing patients.

Replying to @alandrummond2
Unfortunately, the authors of the study in the article (the MEI) are pushing for more of the same, disproven, "solution" — with the addition of privatization, just to make it worse.
If increasing privatization worked, Quebec would be the best instead of the worst.
