Connection can make a difference. On #988Day, Student Services pinned staff, shared staff, & community partners with teal & purple ribbons while spreading awareness of the #988Lifeline. A small ribbon can start an important conversation. @SBE_HCS @cdflemisterbell #YouBelongHCS
POV: The CARES Team understood the assignment. We kicked off our You belong campaign by putting Welcoming into action. At SBE, belonging starts the moment you walk in the door. #YouBelongHCS @SBE_HCS @cdflemisterbell @Lakanijones @DeeJohnsonHCS @AWellnessGuy
Give people their flowers! Today, Mr. Hamilton received his. A parent stopped by to recognize the wonderful job he’s doing as her son’s mentor. Tiger Connection is about caring adults in students’ corners and he’s showing exactly what that looks like. @SBE_HCS @cdflemisterbell
SPOTTED: SBE staff making a difference! This Togetherness Tuesday, brought out the cheetah print because at SBE, you don’t have to look far to spot the difference we make!

Togetherness Tuesday @SBE_HCS is always such a great way for us to connect as a staff. Our students and families get a kick out of it too! Looking good EIP! #YouBelongHCS
I love "Togetherness Tuesdays" at @SBE_HCS Every Tuesday there's a special color or pattern to wear. Yesterday was "Polka Dot Day"and our team represented well! 😊
It's the simple things that create a culture of oneness. 💙

Tiger Connection links EVERY Tiger to a Caring Adult in the Building. We really mean it when we say school is a safe place for everyone. Such an awesome way to build relationships. @SBE_HCS @cdflemisterbell @Lakanijones @DeeJohnsonHCS @AWellnessGuy #YouBelongHCS
Fridays “F” =fun-filled! What better way to end the school week than laughs, impromptu poses, and treats…just for you! SBE’s Wellness Squad turned it up! #YouBelongHCS @SBE_HCS @cdflemisterbell @ms_clore @AngelaMKDiva @Lakanijones @AWellnessGuy @DeeJohnsonHCS
Day 1 with our teachers…explored data, strengthened prevention efforts, and prioritized staff wellness through meaningful collaboration. Great conversations, movement, and a brain break. Starting strong! #changethegame @cdflemisterbell @Lakanijones @DeeJohnsonHCS @AWellnessGuy
My favorite greeting is “Good Morning Sunshine!!” so it’s no surprise that I love being on our MHWF Sunshine Committee ushering in sunshine to the folks who bring it day in and day out for others!! Truly can’t wait to see what we do for our team this year. ☀️💚💪🏽
Preparing for SY ‘26-27 by doing all the things that I love…celebrating with community partners, ensuring a welcoming climate for educators new to Henry, and providing support and skill building for new teachers. Our year is off to a great start! #youbelonginHenry
Congratulations @ACarrecia !!! Very well deserved!! 🥳🎊🎉🐯
HCS named Locust Grove Middle School Counselor Jessica Thompson as its 2025-2026 School Counselor of the Year in a recent ceremony at the McDonough Performing Arts Center. Carrecia Augustin from Smith-Barnes Elementary and Cyntonia Carten from Hampton Middle School were semifinalists, while Woodland Middle School Principal Michelle Wilkerson was named the 2025-2026 Administrator of the Year.

On Bosses Day, we celebrated our Principal @cdflemisterbell …it’s difficult to surprise her…but we got her good! There’s no love like the love of our babies. We hope you felt every drop! Thanks for your leadership! @SBE_HCS @HenryCountyBOE #acceleratingexcellence
To promote the whole child, boost culture/climate, and foster teacher wellness can be challenging. To be celebrated on our day in such an awesome way reminds us how important our work is and why we do it! Thank you @Lakanijones @AWellnessGuy @DeeJohnsonHCS @YolandaReidWhe1
To recognize National School Attendance Awareness Month and remind our students to be present and be powerful, SBE’s CARES Team implemented a spirit week! From sports day, hat day, and even pj day, our babies showed up and showed out! @SBE_HCS @cdflemisterbell @HenryCountyBOE

Today’s African American History Quiz Bowl was proof that academics can be even more exciting than sports events 😂. @ms_clore and I had a ball preparing and facilitating today’s event as our 4th and 5th grade HR’s went head to head. @SBE_HCS @cdflemisterbell @HenryCountyBOE
