I learned this year that you should start getting your heart checked in your mid/late-30s, *even if you don't have any symptoms*. (I only did because I've been a Type 1 Diabetic since age 10… and discovered I needed bypass surgery.)
We're losing too many folks by surprise. ☹️

Dear Dad,
I know you can't read this, but tonight I'm walking the red carpet at the Chinese Theatre in LA for a theatrical release of a show I'm in -- Knights of Guinevere.
We did it. I made it to Hollywood and get to walk the red carpet down the walk of fame just like we dreamed of when I was kid.
Thank you for showing me all of those classic movies like On The Town, Singing in the Rain, and The Music Man. Thank you for teaching me the history of cinema and film appreciation. Thank you for coming to all of my plays and for introducing me to nerd culture. Thank you for playing Nintendo with me.
I love you very, very much and I wish you could be here. 💙

Not for profit, not sponsored, just a personal love letter/celebration of my 1 year as the VA of Daredevil in Marvel Rivals
Every frame/action/artistic choice was planned & carried out straight from my heart with the help of my amazing small team

Keep going. Please keep going.
Because you don't know it yet,
but one day you'll get to work with your heroes.
And you'll be so happy you stuck with it.

Another potentially controversial take: When people say "It's not about the voice, it's about the acting" I personally believe they're wrong.
Acting is essential, but creating a unique voice for a character is an incredible way to bring a character to life. (1)

Had the pleasure(?) of practicing my commercial reads while hooked up to a period cramp simulator! Gotta say: it was certainly a humbling experience.
Thank you to @CarinGilfry for the opportunity! And to @MMorgue369 for being my cameraman.

We say goodbye to another legend today 🕊️
Mike McFarland, the veteran voice actor, ADR director, scriptwriter and producer, has passed away at 56. For generations of anime fans, he was especially known as the original Funimation English voice of Master Roshi in Dragon Ball, alongside major roles in Attack on Titan, One Piece, Tokyo Ghoul and Fullmetal Alchemist.
Some of his most memorable characters included:
• Master Roshi — Dragon Ball
• Jean Kirstein — Attack on Titan
• Buggy the Clown — One Piece
• Koutarou Amon — Tokyo Ghoul
• Jean Havoc — Fullmetal Alchemist / Brotherhood
• Gordon Agrippa — Black Clover
• Mashirao Ojiro — My Hero Academia
• Carnage Kabuto — One-Punch Man
• Teppei Sugo — Psycho-Pass
• Yajirobe — Dragon Ball
• Ectoplasm — My Hero Academia
• Ryoji “Ranka” Fujioka — Ouran High School Host Club
• Cain Nightroad — Trinity Blood
His influence also extended far beyond the microphone. McFarland directed English dubs for major productions including Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, the Rebuild of Evangelion films, Summer Wars and Wolf Children, helping shape how an entire generation experienced anime in English.
Rest in peace, Mike McFarland. From Master Roshi and Buggy to Jean Kirstein, his voice and work behind the scenes became part of countless anime memories. 🕊️
