Giuffre’s memoir alleges she was beaten and violently raped by a “well-known prime minister” while trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein; in prior court filings she has identified former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak as that individual, an accusation Barak has denied. Reporting and leaked documents also show a close professional and social relationship between Barak and Epstein, involving meetings, emails, and business dealings, but the available material shows allegations, relationships, and denials rather than a resolved legal finding.

All praise belongs to Allah, who has blessed me with a beautiful baby boy.
After three daughters, Allah has finally blessed me with a son, and I cannot put into words the gratitude I feel.
The first time I held my son in my arms, I made an oath to myself: I will strive to raise him to become a scholar. That will be my goal for him, to dedicate his life to knowledge, to the Qur'an, to the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt, and to serving the religion of Allah.
May Allah guide him, protect him, grant him righteous character, and make him a source of benefit for the believers. May He also bless my three daughters and make them women of knowledge, faith and strength.
Please remember me, my wife, our children and our family in your du'a. May Allah grant us the strength and ability to raise them in a way that pleases Him.

Before sentencing Omar al-Mukhtar to death, the Italian judge asked him:
— Did you fight against the Italian state?
Omar al-Mukhtar: Yes.
— Did you encourage people to fight against the Italian state?
Omar al-Mukhtar: Yes.
— How many years did you fight against Italy?
Omar al-Mukhtar: About 20 years.
— Do you regret what you did?
Omar al-Mukhtar: No.
— Do you know that you will be executed?
Omar al-Mukhtar: Yes.
Surprised, the judge said:
— It is very sad for a man like you to meet such an end…
Omar al-Mukhtar replied:
— On the contrary! This is the most beautiful way for my life to end.
The judge then offered to acquit him and send him into exile if he wrote a declaration ordering the resistance fighters to end their struggle. Omar al-Mukhtar responded with his famous words:
“These fingers, which testify in every prayer that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His Messenger, can never write anything false! We do not surrender: we either win or die. Even if we die, we win, while you lose. The bitter truth is that you will understand this only when you die—and by then, it will be of no use to you!”
