Islington just released revised drawings for the new cycle crossing at Newington Green. A few slight tweaks from the plan at consultation. Overall looks good! Construction starts Nov 18.

The new access from Donkey Lane towards the A10 is finished, absolutely is much nicer than the previous railings there. And there are works on the other side of A10 along Oldbury Road/Brick Lane. It’s just the A10 crossing which isn’t great.

The new cycle crossing on next to the Rio Cinema, will open very soon. As a result, vehicles will no longer be able to turn left from the A10 into Sandringham Rd, and only left turns from Sandringham Rd onto the A10 will be permitted (no right turns towards Stoke Newington).

It's a celebration day. The much maligned Deptford Church Street roundabout has been demolished in preparation for the new protected cycleway connecting Deptford Broadway to Cycleway 4.

@TfL @SebDance The gates on cycleway C10 around Millwall stadium have been closed since Saturday - I believe because the club didn't reopen them after the game on Saturday. C10 is a commuter route, and I've seen lots of people turning round. When will they be reopened?

UPDATE: @ThamesWater #Greenway/#Cycleway22 closure pushed back to 2nd September to allow ramps to be widened & lighting to be installed. Hopefully this also buys @NewhamLondon time to make the diversion via Abbey Rd E15 kid-safe in time for new school year. We'll be watching. 🤞

Confirmation: @ThamesWater plan to close #Greenway/#Cycleway22 for 18 MONTHS(!) from 19 August. Even more worryingly, we haven't seen their proposed diversions yet. This will have a big impact on the community. We'll hold them to account: any diversion must be safe & inclusive.

Experimental changes at Old Jewry at the junction with Poultry/Cheapside will now be implemented from 5 July 2024 and not 28 June 2024. At the junction with Poultry/Cheapside the left turn will be restricted to taxis and cyclists only. This trial will begin on 5 July 2024:
