Quite possibly the most disgusting thing you will see today. The Marwadi Ghodi (mare) dance is a centuries-old folk tradition from Rajasthan, India. KFC has broken its promise to take fast-growing #Frankenchickens off the menu. The company must stop profiting from suffering. I’ve just sent them a clear message that their actions are unacceptable. Will you stand up for chickens and email KFC too? bit.ly/4wV1xdp 🐔📢

Sentences for animal cruelty are a joke in the UK.
Politicians don't care..
We have a huge population of selfish subhumans who don't care..
Animal charities that do care try their best, but are fighting a losing battle against overwhelming odds. 😒
Evil is everywhere..
Yet again, a suspended sentence for an animal abuser 😡
CONVICTED | He Chased, Beat And Stamped On Defenceless Ducks While His Friends Laughed — Then Posted It On Snapchat
Owen Rayner, 20, of Staincross, Barnsley, chased three Mallard ducks around a lakeside, struck them repeatedly with a large stick and stamped on at least three of them as they desperately tried to flee. Two older teenagers watched and laughed as it happened. Rayner filmed it and posted it on Snapchat.
RSPCA Inspector Keith Hogben — a man with 27 years of experience — described it as one of the worst deliberate acts of cruelty on innocent defenceless animals he had ever witnessed. He said the fact those involved were laughing as they carried out the attack showed how little respect they had for living creatures.
Rayner admitted an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 for intentionally killing or causing injury to three ducks. The court heard the attack was deliberate, prolonged and carried out purely for amusement.
He was sentenced to an 18-week suspended prison sentence, 150 hours unpaid work and over £500 in fines and costs.
Ducks feel pain and fear just like any other living creature. They were chased, beaten and stamped on for entertainment.
And once again — no prison time. 😡😡

Imagine living like this for FIVE YEARS. Your entire life. This is what mother pigs endure in factory farms across the globe.
My wife @rose__patterson and her org @AnimalRising released this footage at a supposedly high welfare farm today. This has to stop.

Dolphins being captured today off the coast of Taiji in Japan. Many will be killed & end up as dog food, a small number will be sold for huge profit into the captive dolphin trade to spend the rest of their lives in a concrete prison performing tricks to entertain tourists
A shameful cruel & exploitive business that has no place in the modern world

I have a sad and genuinely infuriating story...
A little donkey named HeeHaw was sh0t and k*lled... by police... in the middle of the night... on his own family's farm.
His "crime"? He ran up to the officers braying, being a friendly donkey.
This happened in Polk County, Georgia, around 12:45 in the morning.
According to the family that owns Elsberry Riding and Farm, officers came onto their property, into the pasture, searching for a missing person. The family says they did it without permission.
And there was HeeHaw. A small, curious donkey doing what donkeys do. The family says he ran up to the officers braying to greet them.
The family says the officers tried to TASE him first and then one of them sh0t him, and he passed away.
A small donkey trotting up braying is not a threat.
You do not need a taser, and you SURE AS HELL don't need a bullet, for a friendly farm animal, any Southern person knows that.
To their credit, the department is not sweeping it away.
The Cedartown Police Chief launched an investigation and put the officer who fired on administrative leave. GOOD.
And the Sheriff's Office, which wasn't even involved, took the time to send condolences to the family.
HeeHaw wasn't a threat. He was a pet. And he trusted people right up until the end.
Rest easy, HeeHaw. 💔

More than 50 sloths died at an Orlando tourist attraction that never opened to the public. Last week, Florida officials closed the criminal investigation and pressed no charges.
Sloth World was supposed to be an interactive attraction on International Drive where you could hold a sloth. To stock it, the company imported animals caught in the wild in Guyana and Peru.
The first shipment arrived at a facility with no running water and no electricity. The space heaters meant to keep them warm failed, leaving tropical animals in the Florida cold for at least one night in December 2024.
Between March and April, the number of living sloths in the company's care went from 26 to 13.
The sheriff's report describes emaciated, dehydrated animals. One frothing at the mouth. One that had been lying on the ground for two days, covered in its own feces. The curator who helped move the survivors to the Central Florida Zoo said she saw no food and no water anywhere in the building.
A veterinarian told the state the company expanded faster than it could handle disease, and was dosing sick sloths with Pedialyte.
55 died, only 13 made it out alive.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office concluded there was no crime because nothing that happened cleared the legal bar for criminal neglect in Florida.
A state representative put it about as plainly as it can be put: when a facility can be in full compliance with every applicable standard and animals still die by the dozens, the standards are the problem. Compliance is not the same as care.
Florida now requires a special permit to import sloths. Orange County commissioners are weighing a ban on using exotic wildlife for commercial entertainment.
55 wild animals were pulled out of a rainforest, shipped across an ocean, and died in a warehouse for an attraction that never opened its doors. And under the law as written, nobody did anything wrong.

Look at the size of him next to the people standing there😱
This is a mola mola, the ocean sunfish. One of the heaviest bony fish on the planet. He can weigh as much as a car, drift for decades through open water, bask sideways at the surface soaking in sun he’ll never feel again.
And here he is: strung up by a single rope through the jaw, swinging over a concrete dock while men stand around checking their phones, waiting to weigh him like cargo💔
Mola mola aren’t even a commercial target for most fleets, they’re usually bycatch, animals that had no reason to die except that they surfaced near the wrong net. He didn’t threaten anyone. He wasn’t in anyone’s way. He was just enormous, and slow, and alive, in a stretch of ocean humans decided to drag a line through.
There’s no ceremony here, no need, no hunger being solved that a thousand other foods couldn’t solve. Just a rope, a scale, and a species that will be sold in pieces by the afternoon.
You can look at this photo and feel awe at what he was. Or you can look away and let him become a receipt. #LiveVegan 🙏

The Warwickshire Hunt have once again been filmed illegally hunting a live fox — this time a pregnant vixen, chased down and torn apart by hounds.
They continue to claim they are a “trail hunt”. The footage proves otherwise.
West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs captured the moment this vixen was pursued, surrounded and killed. This is not an accident. This is not a mistake. This is fox hunting — banned, but still happening.
Landowners who allow the Warwickshire Hunt onto their land are enabling this cruelty. They know exactly what this hunt does.
We stand with the Hunt Sabs, wildlife monitors and everyone exposing the truth.
