The media in this country is rotten to its core.
The public hounding of a vulnerable Black autistic man to his death was not an accident. It was by design, driven by faux outrage and clicks, with a human being turned into a target.
The Times, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Independent, The Spectator and The Guardian all joined the pile-on. And even sections of the left media, including Novara, did too.
The story should never have been Jason Arday. It should have been 19th-century ‘race science’ being peddled by a racist crank and the media’s failure to scrutinise it.
Instead too many jumped on a rabid, racist pile-on rather than exposing it.
Shame on them all.
Germans should be cognisant of the fact that due to their starting two world wars they are one of only three states explicitly excluded from protections under international law as per UN Charter Article 107.
Iran, however, having not committed any genocides, is protected.

The “right wing” - which we can take as a stand in for conservative/pro-capitalist forces - can and often do have an objective interest in opposition to imperialism.
Obvious cases in point - Hamas, Hezbollah, Ansar’allah, Iran
The Collins wing of the IRA were historically progressive but politically conservative, and then took on a reactionary role as their capacity and willingness to struggle extinguished and they achieved concessions in line with their interests. Similarly with Fatah wing of the PLO.

BREAKING: This is the first video showing how a Kuwaiti F/A-18C Hornet shot down three F-15Es of the USAF (two from 335th FS and one from 492nd FS) on March 2. The Kuwaiti Hornet pilot used AIM-9M or AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles to shoot the Strike Eagles down. He engaged them from very close range and even dogfought with one of them, which indicates that this action might have been deliberate.
