May the bloodthirsty warmongers, who push for a war that never ends, burn in hell!
Elon Musk warned about the Ukraine war years ago, and it's absolutely tragic how accurately he predicted the devastating cost of human lives from this conflict Back in October 2022, Elon didn't just call for peace. He actually proposed a peace plan involving UN-supervised votes in occupied regions, recognizing Crimea as Russian, guaranteeing its water supply, and Ukraine remaining neutral He warned that continuing this war would bring devastating death and destruction, with countless young Ukrainians and Russians losing their lives And look at what's happened since then More than 2 MILLION military casualties, entire cities destroyed, millions of people forced from their homes, and the war is still going on with no lasting peace Elon faced enormous backlash for proposing a path toward peace, but the human cost he warned about has become an absolutely horrifying reality And that's what makes this so tragic. These are human beings with parents, families, loved ones, and entire lives ahead of them, not disposable pieces on some geopolitical chessboard How many more young people have to die in trenches before ending this endless slaughter becomes just as important as deciding who wins the war? Elon saw the devastating human cost of a prolonged war coming years ago, and instead of taking his warning seriously, people attacked him for even putting a peace proposal on the table Just imagine how many lives could have been saved if a lasting peace had been reached years earlier How much more death and destruction will it take before ending this meat grinder becomes the priority??

I’m sick of this Kelly Clarkson and the bird story, and her fans defaming my magician friends at Art of Play This is me with one of the Buck twins in 2014, and my daughter and I with Adam Rubin in 2019. The Buck Twins Dan and Dave Buck started doing magic at a very young age They started doing cardistry which got magicians attention and landed them major spots at huge magic conventions like Magic Live in Vegas at the age of 17 They released their first DVD Pasteboard Animations in 2001 Then The System in 2004 And later a 3-DVD set The Trilogy 2007 which still is one of the greatest magic teaching videos out there and many magicians can’t match their moves. They started their own playing cards line called Smoke & Mirrors in 2008 and they still release limited editions of some unique designs every now and then. They started a website called Dan & Dave just for their brand, but they wanted to expand and created a website called Art of Magic (which they later sold to Vanishing Inc Magic) They also love collecting unique artifacts so they partnered with magician Adam Rubin and opened an online store in 2013 called Art of Play Where they offered unique playing cards, puzzles, and any magical items that aren’t for magicians only (not magic props) The online shop was a success, magicians and artifacts collectors loved the online shop. They also helped with the inauguration of a cardistry convention in San Diego called Cardistry Con in 2017. In 2024 they decided to open a physical Art of Play shop with a hidden magic theater in the back of it. They are always hosting big names in magic since they’ve made a big name of their own, and very beloved and connected in magic community, the playing cards community, and the Cardistry community. Please understand that the art piece she’s inquired about was commissioned by them to place in their store, it is fixed on the wall, and the usually an estimated current value shows, not a commissioned price. The shop tried to explain to her that there is a similar piece by the same artist in another location (another shop) that isn’t fixed on the wall that she could buy, alternatively they could contact the artist to commission one for her. But because she’s so in her bubble she thought they were offering her a cheap version because they didn’t think she can afford this one! Anyways Their link on the reply, go watch some of the amazing magicians they host there, they are always sold out weeks in advance, so plan accordingly.
Cool, cool. Sure, it wasn’t for sale. That’s the narrative Art of Play is gonna go with 👍 so the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale whilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title Singing Bird didn’t happen as you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending tone “yes, it’s for sale but it costs 15,000 dollars so if you’d like me to find something comparable for you I can.” That all never happened and now it’s not for sale. Okay, cool. So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar. Got it ✅ And by the way, I obviously support small businesses because I was literally at a small business trying to purchase things. I love small businesses and know they are important and I always support them, but you don’t get a free pass to treat people less than in your store just because you are a small business. It’s not that hard to be kind. I never blast people but you my friend were an exception. Your store is really cool. Unfortunately, you aren’t.

People project so much bad faith on Elon but clips like this show his essential humanity.
Elon Musk becomes deeply moved, and deadly serious, when Bret Baier asks him why he called Sen. Mark Kelly a "Traitor" for pushing to send more US aid and weapons to Ukraine. Watch every second of his response. "We should have empathy for the thousands of people dying everyday in the trenches. For no movement in the lines. For the past two years thousands of people have died every week for nothing." "I take great offense at those who put the appearance of goodness over the reality of it. Those who virtue signal and say we can't give into Russia, but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day." "I have contempt for such people and I want to make that clear. Because they're virtue signaling and their lack of a solution means that kids don't have a father. It means parents lost a son. For what? Nothing."

Walter Kirn: Everything that happens before the election is a PSYOP. KIRN: “Everything that happens, the polling, the rumors, the word of mouth, the social media posts, the trends, the little anecdotes that get repeated and go viral. Everything is subordinate to that election. And none of it is true in and of itself. It's all instrumental.” “Not only don't I trust the polls, I do trust the polls. I trust them to be nudging people in all the ways that polls can for all the people who can pay for polls.” “The news now is all about behavior modification. It's not about truth.” For the next week, every poll or viral story you see, don't ask if it's true. Ask what it's trying to get you to do.

All the truisms about Houdini I grew up with are false, it appears. - Houdini did not die on Halloween. - Houdini wasn't killed by a punch to the stomach. That McGill student was a patsy. - Houdini's relatives lied about the cause of death to get Bess a double insurance payout. archive.is/20261020220243/ht…

When I first brought my Eastern European girlfriend (later wife) to the U.S. to meet my parents she called attention to something about my father that had heretofore been invisible to me. She said, “He’s so obsequious around black people. It’s disgusting.”
“That is the trap white guilt sets. It decides in advance what a black person is allowed to think. If you agree with the program, you are a symbol of the oppressed. If you don’t, you are a race-traitor. Either way, you are not a person. You are a role in someone else’s story.” -- @CoreyBBrooks on the evils of white guilt. johnkassnews.com/white-guilt…

This guy has a gift for illuminating complex subjects clearly, and the battle for truth and reality has never been more complex, or more clear.
🚨 I spend an enormous amount of time trying to understand the chaos we're living through. Not the headlines. The machine behind them. 🚨 If you want to understand what Elon Musk is really fighting, and who is really fighting him, this is the clearest map I can give you. Expensive houses. Expensive schools. Expensive healthcare. Taxes that rise every year while everything gets worse. Borders nobody voted to open. Speech rules nobody voted for. Most people look at this and blame capitalism. The market failed, they say, so the state has to step in and fix it. They have it exactly backwards. What they want to fix it with is what broke it. This isn't chaos, and it isn't capitalism. It has a direction, a method, and a hundred-year history. Let me reverse-engineer it. In 1926, Mussolini's regime threw Antonio Gramsci, co-founder of the Italian Communist Party, into prison. From his cell he asked the question that would shape the next century: why did the revolution win in Russia but fail in the West, where Marx said it was inevitable? His answer: in Russia, the state was everything, so seizing it was enough. In the West, the state was only the outer wall. Behind it stood the real fortress: the church, the family, the school, the press, the culture. Western workers never revolted because the culture held them. So the conclusion was simple. Don't storm the palace. Capture the culture. Win the institutions and you never have to win the argument, because you decide which arguments are allowed. In 1967, the German student leader Rudi Dutschke gave it a slogan: the long march through the institutions. Paris supplied the intellectual software, and I've already apologized for my country's part in that. Then came the most patient operation in modern history. The students of the 60s became the professors of the 80s. Their students became the journalists, judges, civil servants and HR directors of the 2000s. Their students now run the foundations, the NGOs and the agencies. No single step looked like a revolution. That's exactly why it worked. The method was communist. The ambition became global. And it grew like a cancer. A cancer never attacks the body head-on. It hijacks the body's own cells and feeds on the body's own resources. This system never had to defeat the West. It just had to make the West pay for it. In America, the machine found a political home: the Democratic Party. Not the millions of decent people who vote for it. The apparatus. The donor networks, the activist groups, the consultants, the captured agencies that keep moving in the same direction whoever wins. In Europe, it found something even better. The EU's founders, Schuman, Adenauer, De Gasperi, were Catholic anti-communists who wanted to make war impossible. But they built exactly what the long march dreams of: power that never has to face a voter. A Commission nobody directly elects holds the right to propose laws for 450 million people. Chat Control. The digital euro. Speech rules written in Brussels. Nobody stormed anything. They just drafted it. Add the World Economic Forum, the UN agencies and the global foundation circuit, and you have the full map. You don't need a secret meeting when everyone went to the same schools, reads the same papers, funds the same NGOs and flies to the same conference in Davos every January. It's not a conspiracy. It's a class with shared incentives. That's harder to fight, because there's no headquarters to raid. And the billionaires? Most people who became the richest in the world got absorbed. They built something real, then traded it for an aura. Bill Gates is the perfect example: he built the software that ran the world, then became the bankroller of global health bureaucracies and the funder of newsrooms covering his own causes. Laurene Powell Jobs bought The Atlantic. Benioff bought Time. You're not buying a business. You're buying the right to be called good by the people who decide who is good. That's the corruption. Not suitcases of cash. Money for aura, grants for loyalty, NGOs for policy. All legal. All invisible. Here's the proof it's one system and not a hundred separate problems. Look at what happened to prices over the last 25 years. Everything exposed to markets and technology got cheaper: TVs, software, phones, clothing. Everything controlled by institutions exploded: college, healthcare, childcare. And housing, where you need a committee's permission to build anything. Same country, same economy, same decades. The difference isn't the product. It's who controls it. Taxes go up and services get worse, because the money doesn't reach the services. It feeds the layers. Immigration happens at a scale no electorate clearly chose, because for a system that lives on managing problems, more problems means more budget. And a two-income family today can't buy the house their parents bought on one salary. That's real poverty, manufactured by a machine that is rewarded for looking good, never for being good. MAGA isn't the cause of the chaos. It's the immune response. Brexit, the farmers' revolts, the votes shaking every European capital: same thing. The body finally noticed the tumor. So what we're living through is not a normal political cycle. It's a fight to the death between two models. One runs on the perception of goodness. The other runs on reality. And it had to be the richest man in the world. Anyone smaller would have been bought, sued or cancelled. Every billionaire before him took the deal. Elon walked out of the club and turned the lights on. He bought Twitter for $44 billion, opened the Twitter Files and gave the world back a public square where any narrative can be checked in real time. He went inside the government and helped shut down USAID. Now Politico announces that the Democrats' gavels are coming for him. His answer: he'll find out who is really pulling the strings and go after them, not just their puppets. He has one line he keeps coming back to: he cares about the reality of goodness, not the perception of it. That sentence is the whole war. Now the part that makes me certain of how it ends. A lie is expensive to maintain. It needs gatekeepers, censors, fact-checkers, friendly journalists, a budget, and constant repairs every time reality contradicts it. The truth costs nothing to maintain. It just keeps being true. AI is driving the cost of checking anything toward zero. Any budget, any study, any statistic, any promise, audited in seconds by anyone with a phone. Yes, AI can generate lies at scale too. But producing a lie is cheap. Defending it against a billion instant audits is impossible. That's what acceleration really means. It doesn't pick sides. It speeds up feedback loops. Systems aligned with reality compound. Systems built on lies hit the wall faster. And you cannot build rockets, design chips or cure diseases with a false model of the world. Physics doesn't read op-eds. The more intelligence we pour into the world, the more expensive every lie becomes. You cannot scale a lie. You can only scale what's true. We are close to the collapse of the old order and the birth of a new one. Not the one from the WEF's own 2016 video, "you'll own nothing and you'll be happy." The opposite. An order built on truth-seeking, efficiency, science, private property and free markets. You will own things. You will build things. And you'll be happy, because it will be real. Gramsci's long march took a century. Its collapse will take years. History will remember this moment. A man walked into the most powerful machine ever built, refused the deal everyone else took, and chose reality over perception. I have never been more optimistic.

NEW - Irish government runs an advert discouraging grandparents from hugging their grandchildren without consent.

A potential data point in the case for reincarnation: "In cases where the identified deceased individual died suddenly or unexpectedly, the 'intermission time' – the amount of time between their death and the birth of the child recalling their life – was significantly shorter than in cases where the death wasn't unexpected."

It's a pretty bad-faith projection to go from "My wife and I want to come to a wild party on your island" to "My wife and I want to come and rape some teenagers on your island." But bad-faith takes are the name of the game when it comes to attacking Musk.

True to form, @24hourfitness has enshittified themselves further. Mr. Socialist -- Mr. Let's Rebel Against the Millionaires and Billionaires -- wants to send hundreds of billions of dollars in Americans' money not to American communities to improve the lives of American workers, but to Raytheon and Boeing to keep fueling the war in Ukraine.
Disgraceful. Trump sacrifices Ukrainian lives in order to appease his fellow authoritarian, Mr. Putin. The U.S. must release the transfer of interceptor missiles to Ukraine. No U.S. alliance with the Russian dictatorship.
