People forget that the stars used to hit the PAVEMENT promoting their albums. You couldn’t just announce an album a week before. You had to hit like 2-3 talk shows, 2-3 night shows, 106, TRL, have at least one behind the scenes video shoot, and a Today Show Summer concert series.
