I was looking through old photos and I came across these from June 2020, at the height of the madness when lockdown “opened up” and we had to wear masks at the gym. 6 years feels like a lifetime ago. Stay strong, they can’t keep us down 💪🏻😎 USA 250 🇺🇸
When I was in Kindergarten, I brought the helmet to show-and-tell day. Somewhere, there’s a photo of little 6-year-old me wearing it in class. Once upon a time, public school teachers were cool.
When I was 4 years old, my parents were excited to watch the movie E.T. with me. I became an emotional wreck in the first 5 minutes after E.T.’s family left him on earth. How could they leave him behind? We ended up switching to a different movie.
I’ve been in a lazy rut and I haven’t worked out in over 3 weeks. My back has always been my strongest and favorite and muscle to train. Muscle sticks longer than people think.
A lot of people stress over missing a workout, or missing a meal, when in it’s really not going to negatively impact their size, strength, or shape. In fact, a skipped workout is a good thing: extra rest. You don’t grow at the gym. You stimulate growth at the gym. Growth comes from nutrition and rest. If you miss a workout, the extra rest may help you grow and you will also have more energy for your next workout.
For a personal anecdote, I’ve found that if I take a one week break from the gym, I’m stronger and set PRs in my first week back. The moral of the story: don’t beat yourselves up if you have to miss a workout, guys and gals. Muscle sticks.
I plan to get back in the gym soon. Based on my past experience, I don’t expect to lose any strength during this break. The negative effects will be endurance related and I’ll feel them in my first week back in the gym.
I would even say that excess carbs+excess fat is what makes people fat. After years of experimenting with bulking and cutting, I’ve found that I look better and I have more success on weight cuts when I keep carbs moderate and fats low.
If I go a day without eating carbs, I’m ready to choke someone out.
Can’t imagine what it’s like to deprive oneself of an entire macronutrient group…unless someone is massively overweight, wants to lose in a very short period or treating a neurological disorder.
Otherwise why would you want to miss out on some of nature’s greatest gifts such as fruit, honey, rice, oats, veggies and potatoes.
And the best part of all is you can find thousands of fit and healthy people all over the world who include carbs as a regular part of their diet.
Anyone with half a brain knows it’s excess carbs and lack of physical activity that’s makes people fat.
Not carbs.
The horror and suspense when the T-800 searches for Sarah at the club is what makes this scene so brilliant.

ICYMI: The Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s National Counterterrorism Center provided intelligence that supported the arrest of a Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG)-affiliated baby trafficking ringleader, Martha Alicia Mendez Aguilar, also known as “La Diabla,” in Juarez, Mexico, on Sept. 2, 2025.
The joint operation, executed by Mexican law enforcement officers, disrupted an infant trafficking network led by “La Diabla,” that lured pregnant women to remote locations, performed illegal cesarean procedures, harvested the organs from the mothers’ bodies, and sold the newborns to couples in the U.S. for up to 250,000 pesos.

This morning, during routine patrolling in Broadview, in the same area of Chicago that law enforcement were assaulted yesterday, our brave law enforcement officers were rammed by vehicles and boxed in by 10 cars.
Agents were unable to move their vehicles and exited the car. One of the drivers who rammed the law enforcement vehicle was armed with a semi-automatic weapon. Law enforcement was forced to deploy their weapons and fire defensive shots at an armed US citizen who drove herself to the hospital to get care for wounds.
The armed woman was named in a @CBP intelligence bulletin last week for doxing agents and posting online ‘Hey to all my gang let’s fuck those mother fuckers up, don’t let them take anyone.’
Thankfully, no law enforcement officers were seriously injured in this attack.
Pritzker’s Chicago Police Department is leaving the shooting scene and refuses to assist us in securing the area. There is a growing crowd and we are deploying special operations to control the scene.
This is an evolving situation and we will give more information as soon as it becomes available.
