Fun fact of the day:
HC Robert Saleh’s first head coaching win was a 27-24 OT defeat of the Tennessee Titans.
OC Brian Daboll’s first head coaching win was a 21-20 win in his debut vs the Tennessee Titans.
DC Gus Bradley’s first head coaching win was a 29-27 win vs the Tennessee Titans.
Crazy how it has come full circle and they are all now a part of the coaching staff.
The Irony….

TN Titans Today w/ @TheZachLyons drops on all platforms tomorrow at 10 am cst!
We got into a ton of different subjects, including a prime missed opportunity to catch the #Browns off guard with play action early on.
With the run game grooving and 8 of the first 10 plays being runs - I personally felt this is a prime opportunity to catch the defense on their heels.
Great time with Zach on the show, be sure to check it on Spotify and Apple! Like, share and subscribe!

Okay I'll bite just this one time.... if and I mean IF the Titans decide to trade Jeffrey Simmons (I don't think they should) - you need a return similar to the Quinnen Williams trade. They received a 2026 2nd round pick, 2027 1st round pick and Mazi Smith.
I think Jeffrey Simmons is better than Quinnen Williams. The Cowboys also had to re sign Quinnen, where as Tennessee has already extended Jeffrey Simmons through 2029 and just extended him this offseason. I'm not a cap expert but my guess is the dead cap penalties would be steeper as well - so I think you need more than the Quinnen Williams trade.
2026 & 2027 1st round pick + 2026 3rd round pick is what the deal was.

Messing around with some Mock Drafts tonight - you don’t lose in the top 2 with Jeremiah Smith and Colin Simmons sitting there.

According to Next Gen stats, only 1 of the Titans pass catchers was above the league average in separation yesterday and that was 2nd string TE Daniel Bellinger.
They had no answer for the opposing pass catchers either.

I have no idea how there isn't a false start on Cleveland here on the play that got them in FG range.
I mean, c'mon.
The Titans turned a 14-0 lead to a 17-14 deficit at halftime.
They have to find an answer for KC Concepcion at halftime and it feels like the goal line stand has been the momentum shift.
Could have and should have been a 21-7 lead at that point.
#Titans vs #Browns predictions:
Cam Ward throws for 200+ yards
Gunnar Helm is more involved than he has been with 3+ receptions
The Titans combine for 4+ sacks and win the turnover battle
We see an energized Alontae Taylor flying around
Titans win back to back games for the first time since 2022 in a 20-17 victory

Alontae Taylor playing nickel snaps may be the best thing for this #Titans defense.
Joshua Williams showed up on the boundary, Flott looked better as well. Having Taylor and Marcus Harris at Nickel brings more sub-package possibilities for Saleh and company.
For those who aren’t aware, Jeffrey Simmons is not just playing great real life football but his 17 games pace for the season is just outrageous.
17 game pace puts him at:
96 total tackles
51 solo tackles
11.5 sacks
17 TFL
8 pass deflections
3 FF
3 FR
Big Jeff is having a special season from the DT position.

Wow. Much respect to #Titans HC Robert Saleh for explaining the DT Jordan Elliott gun situation.
“My message to 31 other teams: If you need a hell of a run-stopping D-tackle that can help on a playoff run, give me a call. I'll tell you everything you need to know about him. He’s a good man. Had a terrible lapse in judgment. I recognize it as a call for help. Not a criminal act.”
