🇳🇬❤️ TO EVERY NIGERIAN YOUTH WHO IS TIRED BUT STILL TRYING… I know you are tired. Tired of waking up every morning to a country that demands so much from you but gives so little in return. Tired of struggling for the basics while being told to keep working hard. Some of you are graduates with certificates and no jobs. Some are employed but still cannot afford a decent life. Some are running businesses that barely survive. Others smile on social media while secretly wondering how they will pay rent, feed their families, or start again after another disappointment. You are told to be patient, yet your youth is passing. You are told to work hard, yet hard work does not always open doors. You are told to believe in Nigeria, even when the country gives you countless reasons to lose hope. But please, keep going. Not because everything is fine, but because your life is worth more than the hardships surrounding you. Rest when you need to. Ask for help when you can. Celebrate your little victories. Do not be ashamed of starting small, and never measure your worth against someone else's progress. Nigerian youths are not lazy. They are tired of fighting battles that responsible leadership should be helping them overcome. One day, I hope we will live in a Nigeria where young people can do more than survive—where they can breathe, build, laugh, love, and truly live. Until then, dear youth, please don't give up on yourself. If you are a Nigerian youth fighting silently to make life work, this message is for you. You are seen. You are not alone. Keep going.🕊️

Nigeria needs more than powerful prayers. It needs honest teachers, responsible citizens, ethical public servants, courageous journalists, and leaders who see public office as service.Nation building is also a calling. What role will you play? 🇳🇬

The first time I travelled to Ijebu Ode, I lodged in a cheap hotel where the receptionist warned me never to answer anyone knocking after midnight, no matter how familiar the voice sounded. At exactly 1:13 a.m., I heard my late mother calling me from the corridor, crying and begging me to open the door, and before I could stop myself, I reached for the handle. The next morning, the receptionist saw my room door standing open and whispered, “You’re the first person who has heard that voice and survived the night.”

Warren Buffett bought his first stock at 11. It didn't go well. He put his savings into Cities Service Preferred, at about $38 a share. When the price dipped, he got nervous. He sold at a small profit, around $40. Then the stock went to about $200. He has called it one of the most important moments of his life. The lesson wasn't "buy that stock". It was that his reaction to a dip cost him far more than the dip did. Years later: He worked for his mentor, Benjamin Graham In 1956, he started his own investment partnership with $100 of his own money plus about $105,000 from family and friends Over decades, he built Berkshire Hathaway Reports say about 99% of his wealth came after his 50th birthday He ended his time as Berkshire's CEO on Dec 31, 2025, at 95 He likened wealth to a snowball: it needs wet snow and a very long hill. The hill is time. What I take from it as an investor: Start early, even small. Don't let fear of a dip decide for me. Most of the growth comes late, so the early years can feel slow. His results came from decades of patience and choices I can't copy. I don't need to. I need to start, stay consistent and not panic.

I see Mbappe lifting the Ballon d'Or today, with Harry Kane coming second and Raphinha 3rd. Kvaratskhelia takes 4th, and Dembele finishes 5th. That's my prediction and it's coming to pass

A repair manual can tell you which part to replace. It might not tell you that a certain sound means the part is starting to fail. The technician who's heard it for thirty years knows. When that person retires, the instructions remain. Some of the knowledge doesn't. Now stretch that across generations. A builder teaches an apprentice. That apprentice teaches another. Then, somewhere along the way, the chain breaks. Centuries later, the structures are still standing. We can measure the stones, study the materials, and try to reconstruct the methods. But the people who knew exactly how to do it are gone. Some of what we call a mystery today might once have been an ordinary job someone did every morning.

“genuine question: if your parent needed assisted living tomorrow and it cost $10,000 a month, what would you realistically do?”
I genuinely don’t understand how ordinary people are supposed to afford assisted living for their aging parents. Some facilities charge upwards of $10,000 A MONTH. That’s $120,000 a year just to make sure your parents are properly cared for. How is the average family supposed to afford that?
