Meanwhile, Omar Abdullah himself married Hindu woman Payal Nath and has now married journalist Nidhi Razdan.
Apparently, Muslim men can marry Hindu women, but when Muslim women make the same choice, their families have a problem.
Something about kids from the poorest homes. My mom is a govt school teacher. The level of raw, constant violence she sees among the children is so scary and so routine. Poverty warps how they handle anger from the start. In high-fee private schools you might see a few cases of teenagers pulling this kind of cruelty, but not from eight-year-olds. That is exactly why parents pay lakhs: to keep their kids out of that environment and those peer groups.
What a freaking monster! And mind you, Sanskriti Model Schools are literally considered the best among all govt schools.

Panchkula, Haryana: 8-Year-Old Student Allegedly Assaults 6-Year-Old Girl With Special Needs Inside School, Victim Critically Injured.
A disturbing incident has been reported at Sanskriti Model School in Sector 20, Panchkula, where an 8-year-old Class 3 student allegedly attacked a 6-year-old KG girl with special needs.
According to reports, the accused student allegedly grabbed the girl's hair, slammed her head against a desk and repeatedly attacked her with bricks and a flowerpot. Even after the child reportedly lost consciousness, he allegedly continued dragging and kicking her.
The injured girl was rushed for medical attention and later referred to PGI Chandigarh due to her critical condition.
Police have initiated an investigation to establish the exact sequence of events and circumstances surrounding the incident.
The incident has raised serious concerns over child safety, staff supervision and security arrangements inside schools, particularly when it comes to protecting younger and vulnerable students.

News like this just kills whatever little trust the common man has left in the system. You feel helpless, vulnerable, abandoned. If the people heading these institutions themselves have to run to private hospitals when it comes to their own health, what confidence are ordinary people supposed to have in the public healthcare system? That’s the real damage.
ये कैसी स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था?
उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्वांचल समेत बिहार के कई सीमांत जिलों के मरीजों के लिए उम्मीद बने गोरखपुर AIIMS की व्यवस्था पर एक वाकये से सवाल खड़े हुए हैं. हुआ यूं कि AIIMS की कार्यकारी निदेशक डॉ. विभा दत्ता बीमार हो गईं. उन्हें AIIMS में ही एडमिट कराया गया, लेकिन कैथ लैब की सुविधा नहीं मिल पाई. इस पर वह खुद निजी अस्पताल के दरवाजे पहुंचीं. लगभग आधे घंटे तक वह निजी अस्पताल में रहीं और फिर वापस लौटीं. इस तरह निदेशक को ही निजी अस्पताल के दरवाजे पर पहुंचने से सवाल खड़े हुए हैं. यह सवाल उठ रहा है कि आखिर अस्पताल की व्यवस्था कैसी है, जब निदेशक को ही हेल्थ फैसिलिटी के लिए निजी अस्पताल के दरवाजे पर पहुंचना पड़ा.
हैरानी की बात यह है कि एम्स को खुले 7 साल हो गए, लेकिन वहां कैथ लैब की सुविधा नहीं मिली तो वे एक निजी अस्पताल में पहुंची. कार्यकारी निदेशक डॉ. विभा दत्ता की तबीयत खराब होना और एम्स से निजी अस्पताल पहुंचने पर गोरखपुर एम्स सवालों के घेरे में आ गया. यहां 7 साल होने के बाद भी कैथ लैब की सुविधा एम्स में नहीं है. आखिर इतना समय क्यों लगा. जो गंभीर मरीज आते हैं उन्हें भी गोरखपुर एम्स से रेफर करना पड़ता है.

The GSLV-F18 vehicle placed NVS-03 satellite into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. NVS-03 is the third satellite in next generation navigation satellite system envisaged for providing continuity of navigation services for IRNSS series. The satellite carries Indigenous Atomic clock, along with the procured Atomic clocks. It also includes L1 signal in addition to existing L5/S signals with Coverage over India land mass and a region extending 1500 km around Indian geopolitical boundary.

Saurav Das could not name his own father or give his address in court. His lawyers also had no clue. Some say Nepali father. Some say son of some politician. But he must be holding Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID and PAN all in his name. If father and address are unknown, on what basis were these documents issued? How does a man with no roots get paper identity?
