Well met! I'm an anthropologist (PhD)!
My ethnographic research is on Hindu/Buddhist pilgrimage and sacred fossils (called Shaligrams) in the Himalayas of Nepal.
My new project focuses on robot religion in South Asia.
I also wrote "The Way By."

Have you read Aditya Adhikari’s The Bullet and the Ballot Box and Prashant Jha’s Battles of the New Republic? Recommended!
On the one hand, I have a degree in archaeology and really want to see this new 4,700 year old shipwreck.
On the other hand, I have SCUBA certification as an underwater lionfish hunter.

Given the kinds of comments I keep seeing on this monologue, let me add an anthropologist's two cents.
First of all, humor is contextual.
Women "wearing the wrong thing" gets us killed. That's not a joke. And rolling your eyes and telling every to relax because "it's just a joke" means that you don't actually know what humor is. Or what it does.
