CS Mbadi telling Luos (in Dholuo) of the unconstitutional power Ruto and he enjoy over our national resources!!! "...Here in Kenya, it is only the president who has power to allocate resources. The only other person, after the president, who has power to allocate resources is me. She went to the election office to find out whether she could run for mayor. A probation officer checked, signed a form, and told Pamela Moses she was eligible. He was wrong. She got SIX YEARS for his mistake. Memphis, Tennessee, 2019. Pamela Moses is a Black Lives Matter activist who had been in repeated conflict with local officials. She wanted to run for mayor. To do it she needed her voting rights restored. She went to the probation office. An officer checked her file, completed and signed the certificate saying her probation was complete, and she took that signed document to the election commission. The document was wrong. Her probation had not expired. The officer had made an error. She was prosecuted for illegally registering to vote and, in January 2022, sentenced to six years and one day. She was sent to prison on the strength of a mistake made by a state employee, on a state form, which she had asked that employee to check. The sentence drew national attention. Then a reporter obtained internal correspondence showing the Tennessee Department of Correction had conducted its own review and concluded the officer had erred. In February 2022 a judge granted her a new trial, finding the state had withheld that document. Shortly afterwards, the district attorney dropped the case entirely. She spent eighty-two days in prison. The officer who filled in the form faced no charges. Now put this next to the post at seven this morning. Crystal Mason in Texas. Pamela Moses in Tennessee. Two Black women, two states, two prosecutions, nine years between them in sentences handed down — for ballots that were never counted and registrations that never took effect. Ask yourself how many hours of prison time have been handed to the people who actually administered those forms.

If footballing authorities won't act on the perpetrators of racism in football, continuously kneeling to persuade racists to stop is itself submission to racism. The authorities must act or stop the charade. @MaitlandNiles is 💯 right. The patronising statements here proof it!
🚨 Zlatan Ibrahimović on Ainsley Maitland-Niles refusing to take the knee before Everton’s clash against Chelsea: 🗣️“Let me tell you something. Football is not just about scoring goals, collecting your salary and walking onto the pitch. Football comes with responsibility, and some responsibilities are bigger than the game itself. When the entire football community is trying to send a message against racism, what exactly are you trying to prove by refusing to participate? You are playing in the Premier League, one of the biggest football leagues in the world. Millions of people are watching you. Young children look up to you. You cannot pretend that your actions have no meaning. Nobody is asking you to score 30 goals or win the Ballon d’Or to show that you stand against racism. This is about sending a message that discrimination has no place in football or society. And if a player believes he has a legitimate reason not to participate, then let him explain his position. But football authorities must also be clear about what they expect from players and whether there are any consequences for refusing to participate in league-wide initiatives. You cannot demand respect from millions of fans while refusing to understand why these messages matter to so many people. For me, the bigger question is simple: if you are playing in a league that actively campaigns against racism, do you believe players should be expected to participate in its anti-racism gestures, or should every player have the freedom to make that decision for himself? Because if football cannot agree on how to handle something this important, then we have a bigger conversation to have.”

🚨 🗣️ Breaking: Ainsley Maitland-Niles on why he refused to take the knee before Everton vs Chelsea: “Honestly, I feel like these gestures have become formalities. We take the knee before matches, cameras capture the moment, and everyone moves on. But what actually changes? “I have experienced racism throughout my career, from my time at Arsenal to Lyon and now back at Everton. Yet I rarely see meaningful consequences for those responsible. How many more Black players must suffer before real action is taken? “Behind every racist insult is a human being being humiliated for the colour of their skin. Imagine giving everything to football, entertaining millions, only to be reminded that some people still believe you are worth less because you are Black. “I am tired of seeing beautiful messages against racism followed by the same ugly reality. Taking the knee means nothing if the people responsible face no consequences. “I don’t want another photograph of players taking the knee. I want to see real punishment, real accountability and real change. Black players deserve to feel protected, respected and safe, not just for the 60 seconds before kick-off, but every single day. #EVECHE

🚨 Arsène Wenger on the advantages PSG hold over other teams in the Champions League: 🗣️ Arsène Wenger: “There is a structural problem here that people do not want to discuss properly. PSG can postpone Ligue 1 matches when it suits them. They can move a domestic fixture to protect their players for the Champions League, arrive fully fit, fully prepared, and then play a team that has just come through a full Premier League weekend with no such option. “That is not squad management. That is a competitive advantage the other clubs do not have. In England, in Spain, in Germany, the league schedule is fixed. You play when you are told. You cannot ring the league and ask them to move the game because you have a Champions League match four days later. PSG can. And they use it. “Add to that the level of the domestic competition. When the gap between first and the rest is so large, you can rest half your team, protect key players from fatigue and injury, and still win the league comfortably. The others cannot do the same. They have to play their best players every week just to stay in the race. Then they meet PSG in Europe and the French side have fresher legs, fewer minutes in their legs, and a better recovery window. “I managed in the Premier League for many years. I know what it costs to compete on both fronts with no flexibility in the calendar. The physical and mental load is different. When one club can choose when it plays its league games and the others cannot, the Champions League is no longer being contested on equal terms. “People will say every big club rotates. That is true. But rotation is one thing. The ability to postpone a league match so your entire squad is fresh for Europe is another. That is an advantage the rules of the competition allow, and it is an advantage that makes the path easier for one team than for the others. If we want a fair Champions League, these differences have to be addressed. Otherwise we are simply watching some teams play under different conditions than the rest.”

🚨Ian Wright on Bukayo Saka’s performance against Leeds United: 🗣️Reporter: “Ian, Arsenal won 2–1 against Leeds, but there were concerns about Saka’s performance and the team’s attacking play. Do you think Mikel Arteta needs to change something?” 🎙️Ian Wright: “Absolutely. And I'm going to be honest here because I think Bukayo Saka deserves more than what we're seeing at the moment. “This is a player with incredible ability. He can take on defenders, create chances, score goals and make things happen out of nothing. But sometimes, watching Arsenal, I feel like the system is restricting the very players who are supposed to win them games. “Arteta has built a team that knows how to defend, how to stay organised and how to protect a lead. But football isn't only about controlling the game without the ball. At some point, you have to give your attacking players the freedom to hurt the opposition. “Look at Saka. He shouldn't always have to receive the ball with two defenders waiting for him, with no runner supporting him and no space to attack. You cannot expect a player to produce magic every single time when the system gives him so little room to work with. “If Saka played in a team like Barcelona or Bayern Munich, with the movement, combinations and attacking freedom those teams can offer, I genuinely believe he could become unstoppable. Imagine giving him more one-on-one situations, runners making space for him and teammates constantly looking to combine. “You cannot have a player as gifted as Saka and make him look ordinary because your system is too cautious.” “Now, Arsenal won 2–1, and congratulations to them for getting the three points. But let's be honest: the performance should raise questions. Winning doesn't mean everything is perfect. There were moments when Leeds caused problems, and Arsenal were fortunate to come away with the victory. “Arteta needs to understand that being defensively solid is only half the job. Arsenal have players capable of frightening any defence in Europe, but they need a system that brings out their attacking qualities instead of making every game feel like a struggle. “I'm not saying Arteta is a bad manager. He's built a competitive side. But the next step is finding the balance between control and creativity. “Arsenal cannot keep asking Saka to be the solution to every attacking problem while the system itself limits his opportunities.”

BREAKING: AMEN! The Catholic Church SLAMS Pete Hegseth’s big public execution announcement as a “barbaric promotion of a culture of death.” The gloves have really come off now… “It is with shock and great sorrow that I have learned of the Department of War’s decision to publicly livestream the execution of Nidal Hasan,” Archbishop Paul S. Coakley, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, said in an official statement. Yesterday, our alcoholic Fox News host turned “Secretary of War” proudly revealed that Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter who killed 13 people and injured 32 others in 2009, will be publicly executed. The announcment proved to be red meat for the so-called Christians in the MAGA movement, because apparently they’d rather live in Ancient Rome than in a civilized western democracy. They delight in carnage. “Our God is the God of life. In no way can Hassan’s actions be condoned but this decision is a barbaric promotion of a culture of death and must be reconsidered,” Archbishop Coakley continued. “The word of God exhorts us: ‘do not repay anyone evil for evil' (Romans 12:17). The public execution even of one who has done grave harm will only further undermine the moral fabric of our nation and be a blight on the conscience of its people.” “I pray for the intercession of Our Lady of Good Counsel that we as a nation may always choose life even in the most trying times and circumstances,” he added. We couldn’t agree more. Hasan, who is confined to a wheelchair due to gunshot injuries incurred during his attack, deserves to spend the rest of his life in a prison cell. Executing him in a public has nothing to do with justice and everything to do with an administration that fetishizes violence, particularly “holy” violence against Muslims, above all else. Hegseth and Trump are pandering to their base and dragging our entire nation into the gutter in the process. You can feel perfectly justified anger and even hatred for Hasan’s murderous actions and still not want to live in an Iron Age culture where people are killed in public by the government. Hegseth is taking a page right out of the ISIS playbook with this one and no doubt hopes that this display of brutality will prompt bloodthirsty young men to enlist in the military or ICE, which is exactly why the caliphate spread its execution videos online. These Christian Nationalists are exactly the same as the radical Islamists that they despise. America is truly circling the drain now. Thankfully, the Catholic Church is using its full weight as a 2000-year-old institution to take a moral stand against this demonic regime. We must all lend our voices to their fight for a juster, kinder, more Christ-like society. Please ❤️ and share to thank Archbishop Coakley for speaking out!

When will this madness end? How have we degenerated into a society that values things above people? How could any life be worth any number of cows?
Eight people killed, more than 300 cattle stolen in bandit attacks on two villages in Samburu County, authorities confirm.
