GOOD NEWS: A month ago, Deputy Ethan Crosby was lying in the road with two broken femurs after BEING SHOT AND RUN OVER in the line of duty. Now he’s out of rehab and continuing his recovery at home. The Aiken County deputy was critically wounded October 5 during a pursuit that began with a hit-and-run investigation in South Carolina. Deputies were looking for a gray Chevy truck involved in an earlier crash when they found it near Scotch Lane. Investigators say the driver, 38-year-old Amanda Buckner, rammed a patrol car and took off. The chase ended near Powell Pond Road. That is where authorities say Buckner got out of the truck and opened fire. Crosby was hit in both legs. Then, after he was already down, she drove over him. His radio transmission captured the moment clearly: “She ran me over.” Other deputies returned fire and struck Buckner. She was taken to Aiken Regional Medical Center and later d*ed. Crosby was rushed to Wellstar MCG in Augusta with catastrophic leg injuries. Both femurs were broken. Bullets are still lodged in his legs. He underwent two surgeries, remained hospitalized for several days, and was later moved to inpatient rehabilitation. On October 30, the sheriff’s office shared the update everyone had been hoping for: Crosby had been released and was headed home. His recovery is far from over, but walking out of rehab after surviving that kind of attack is a major milestone. SLED continues to investigate the officer-involved shooting. #SouthCarolina #AikenCounty

For the last 9-months, my wife, Brooklyn has been pregnant with a very sick baby boy. Three or four months ago, we learned that the baby had severe hydrocephalus. Back in the old days, hydrocephalus was called, 'water on the brain' - too much brain fluid. Ultimately, we were referred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where we were told by several of the most highly regarded fetal specialists in the country that his condition was dire. The baby's condition was 'off the charts bad'. It was so extreme that the specialists stopped measuring and monitoring his fluid level because, at that point, it didn't really matter. The MRI's were sickening to look at. We were told, pointblank, that there was over a 90% chance that the baby would either die shortly after birth or have such severe cognitive impairments that any quality of life would be hard to imagine. We had a meeting with palliative care regarding the use of life sustaining measures and had detailed, awful, and emotional discussions about the ethics of when we might need to remove or cease such measures - which would result in the baby 'passing away peacefully'. Brooklyn relocated to Cincinnati and lived in a hotel close to the hospital - in case she went into labor. I commuted back and forth. On July 8th, Brooklyn did indeed go into labor. Literally, 15 minutes before they wheeled her back to start the C-section, we had another meeting with doctors regarding the use of a breathing tube and at what point we might need to remove that tube and let the baby go to Heaven. Guess what? The baby came out crying - which was the sweetest sound I ever heard. In a nutshell, Charlie Schnarr stayed in infant intensive care until yesterday - when we all came home. He seems to be a normal, beautiful baby doing all the things that babies do. He has mild ventricular enlargement, but we can deal with that with checkups. How did this happen?! The doctors said, 'We do not have and cannot come up with a medical explanation for what we've witnessed here'. Somehow his brain found a way to naturally clear the blockage or re-route the fluid that was causing the oppressive back up of brain fluid. During the last week, I heard the words, 'divine intervention' and 'miracle' more times than I could count. Nurses with decades of experience and esteemed, nationally admired doctors were flabbergasted but jubilant. Because of the domino effect of friends, family, clients, colleagues and even strangers praying and asking others to pray for us, I do not doubt that there were thousands of people praying for us. I'm a practical person that certainly believes in science and medical technology, but I absolutely know, from the bottom of my heart, that God was involved in this. I give ALL of the credit and glory to Him. Prayer is positively powerful. God is real, and He still performs miracles." 📷: Nick Schnarr

RIP. Montana Deputy Sheriff Ryan Terpsma, who gave his life in the line of duty, is the 78th officer lost in 2026. It was also his 28th birthday. Deputy Sheriff Ryan Terpsma was murdered when he was shot and killed while responding to a disturbance call at 119 Lone Pine Trail in Eureka. At approximately 8:23 p.m., Deputy Terpsma and an officer with the Eureka Police Department responded to a disturbance at a residence. What began as a call to protect those in need turned deadly when a gunman opened fire on the responding officers. Deputy Terpsma was fatally wounded, and the Eureka officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Following the shooting, the suspect fled the residence with a seven-year-old girl, leading law enforcement on a dangerous pursuit. During the chase, the gunman continued firing at pursuing officers, disabling two patrol vehicles. Despite the continuing threat, law enforcement officers remained determined to bring the violence to an end. The suspect was ultimately apprehended at a roadblock along U.S. Highway 93, and the young girl was brought to safety. Investigators later discovered that a 46-year-old woman had also been fatally shot inside the residence. Deputy Terpsma had dedicated himself to serving and protecting others. He began his law enforcement career as a detention officer with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office in December 2024. In May 2026, he continued his commitment to public service by joining the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy sheriff. 🖤🙏💙🙏🖤

Sanctuary states are hiring illegal aliens to work in their governments. Visa overstays are in the U.S. illegally, and a work permit does not shield them from deportation. DHS will continue putting the American people first by continuing the largest mass deportation effort in American history.
NEW: ICE confirms to @FoxNews that their Seattle office has arrested a Kenyan illegal alien who is a current employee of the Washington State Dept. of Children, Youth, and Families, and was wearing a WA DCYF jacket at the time of his arrest. Fox is told ICE arrested STANLEY ROBERT KUNGU MUTHEE during a traffic stop on Monday because he is a visa overstay. He first flew into the US on 2/6/2019 via a B-2/tourist visa, but never left and remained in the country illegally. Fox is told that during his ICE arrest, he admitted to being employed by WA DCYF employee and was in possession of a WA DCYF ID card. I reached out to WA DCYF for comment, and they confirmed he's been an employee since 2024. “This individual has been employed with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families since Aug. 16, 2024. The individual provided the appropriate documentation when he was hired, which indicated he was authorized to work. This included a valid United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) number with no expiration date. We have not been notified of a change in his status.” – Nancy Gutierrez, Director of Communications, WA DCYF A reminder - a work permit does not convey legal status or shield the recipient from deportation. Someone can be in the U.S. illegally, but if they file an asylum claim, they are typically eligible to apply for a work permit 6 months after filing their claim. They can work, but they are still detainable by ICE due to their unlawful status.

Bruno was an officer too. #BackTheBlue
"This was filmed last Thursday at Riverside Veterinary Clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The officer is Sergeant Alan Briggs. He's 44 years old. Twelve-year veteran of the Colorado Springs Police Department. The dog is Bruno, a nine-year-old German Shepherd. They were partners for eight years. Bruno joined the force at fourteen months old. Trained in narcotics detection and patrol support. He and Alan were paired in the spring of Alan's sixth year on the force. From that first week, Alan said Bruno worked like he'd been waiting his whole life to do exactly that job. Eight years. Hundreds of calls. Bruno never missed a shift. Earlier this year, Bruno began slowing down significantly. A serious illness had progressed through his system over several months despite treatment. By October, Bruno had stopped eating consistently. Stopped lifting his head fully when Alan came into the room. The veterinary team sat with Alan two weeks ago and walked him through what was coming. Alan requested that Bruno's final day be spent at home first. They drove to their favorite trail in the morning. Bruno walked as far as he could. Alan carried him the rest of the way. At the clinic that afternoon, Alan sat down on the floor rather than placing Bruno on the examination table. He said he didn't want Bruno's last position to be somewhere unfamiliar and cold. He held Bruno in his arms on the floor, back against the wall. The vet, Dr. Melissa Horan, prepared the procedure. She told us she's been practicing for nineteen years. She has learned to give families as long as they need. Alan leaned down and pressed his face against Bruno's head. He spoke to him quietly. Told him he had been the best partner anyone could ask for. Told him he didn't have to hold on anymore. Bruno lifted both front paws. Slowly. The way a person reaches up when they want to be held. He wrapped them around Alan's shoulders and pulled himself closer. Alan held on. Dr. Horan told us she set down what she was holding and waited. She said: "I've been in this room for a lot of final moments. What Bruno did in that moment was one of the most deliberate things I've ever seen an animal do.
