The U.S. government has repeatedly used Nintendo and Pokémon characters in political internet content. Japan has now reportedly stepped in, asking Washington to stop using Japanese video-game characters in official political posts.
That creates a bizarre collision between politics, internet culture and intellectual property.
And Mario sits right in the middle of it.
Super Mario 64 is one of the most recognizable games ever created. But the fact that something is culturally ubiquitous doesn't make it public domain. Nintendo continues to claim extensive copyright and trademark protection over its characters, games, artwork, music and other expressive elements.
So we built Mario 64 officially in beta - The real mario.

I recreated the entire playable game and open sourced it. You can now fight the war on terror on mario64.club
The open sourced github is here for anyone who wants to add more missions or custom a theme for yourselves.

PUMPLOYED — The job market for crypto
One-liner: LinkedIn for the pump.fun trenches
The idea. Everyone came to Pump to make money. Some of us actually got Pumployed. The joke is a LinkedIn clone where degens post "thrilled to announce" updates about becoming CTO of a rugged memecoin
The Pump Resume (the core product). Connect your wallet — Phantom, or just paste any Solana address — and the app builds your profile from live chain data in about 20 seconds:
Your real pump.fun identity: username, profile picture, follower count
Tokens launched and how many graduated — pulled straight from pump.fun's records
Trading volume and profitable-calls %, computed from your actual recent transactions
Tokens held (with portfolio value in SOL), SOL balance, total transactions, failed transactions ("we've all been there"), your busiest trading day, and how long you've been in the trenches
Your best launch, with its market cap, linking to the real coin page
The star feature that we built for pumployed :
Live Callouts. The feed includes a live board of real pump.fun tokens — the day's top runner, the biggest cap, the day's casualty, and brand-new mints caught seconds after deploy — with real market caps, ages, and 24-hour moves. Each row clicks through to the actual coin on pump.fun. (Built around Pumpfun's Callout Rewards update: on the real app)
The whole social layer works. Post to the feed (with images or video), comment, repost, save posts you've pumped, search everything live, follow people to build your Cabal, get real notifications with an unread badge, chat in DMs.
Get pumployed on pumployedfun.app
Introducing Callout Rewards
Callout tokens and get paid DAILY based on the volume your callout drives to a token.
Available to ALL USERS, exclusively on the Pumpfun app. Start earning now 👇
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Pump.fun charges trading fees of 0.3% to 1.25% on Solana tokens, not 0% as claimed in the thread. pump.fun/docs/fees

Police killed the wrong bear. The BC Conservation Officer Service says a black bear killed by RCMP following an attack on a three-year-old girl in Maple Ridge was not the animal responsible. Conservation officers are still searching for the bear involved in the attack.
Officially in beta.
The real Mario. Playable in-browser.
We’re recreating the experience, adding new missions, and building out the world — including a CA powered by @pumpfun to help fund the journey.
Open source so anyone can build, mod, and create their own missions/themes.
