So who’s behind this pro-genocide rally at City Hall on the anniversary of October 7? Luckily we have the Mayor’s Office to Combat Antisemitism. I’m sure they’re on it.
Lest anyone think Yair Netanyahu wasn’t doing anything useful in Miami these last few years while other young Israelis were fighting and dying, fear not. He was writing a book! Coming in Nov.
He’s avoided the “right to exist” issue lately, but on Oct 8, 2023, Abdul El-Sayed was responded to a question by referring to Israel’s “70+ year occupation.” That means since ‘48. Israel’s very existence is the problem. Thanks for clarifying.
“The genocide allegation survives only by declaring every piece of exculpatory evidence meaningless. Births supposedly tell us nothing. Vaccinations tell us nothing. Food deliveries tell us nothing. Humanitarian pauses tell us nothing. Failed famine predictions tell us nothing. The absence of measured famine mortality tells us nothing.” @Mr_Andrew_Fox mrandrewfox.substack.com/p/s…
‘True Confessions’ is streaming on Amazon Prime if you have an account. One of the great L. A. noir films about brothers, religion and crime. Written by John Gregory Dunne and Joan Didion. Based on one of the best LA crime since Raymond Chandler. Second only to ‘Chinatown.’ Uunbelievably brilliant Robert Duvall and uncharacteristically understated Robert De Niro. An unsung classic.
Replying to @NYCMayor
@NYCMayor Mamdani has called for mass street protests against Israel, its PM, and Zionism itself during the UN General Assembly in September. This year, UNGA takes place the week that begins with Yom Kippur and ends with Sukkot. The NYPD is furious and the city’s Jews are terrified.
As everyone discusses the plight of @grahamformaine, I can’t help thinking of the late great Norm Macdonald discussing the Cosby case with @JerrySeinfeld. Decide for yourself if it’s apropos. (At least stay to see a genius at work and then Jerry lose it at the end.)
