You pay taxes to subsidize them Then they get discounts because they're on subsidies Then they commit fraud to take more of your taxes
The last time my family of four went to @RiverbanksZooSC in Columbia, I had sticker shock as I paid $117 in entrance fees… and then looked around at the crowd and wondered how so many people could afford to spend that . Turns out, if you’re on EBT (food stamps), it would only cost your family $40 to go. Same rules for @greenvillezoo. My family would cost $60; theirs $20. This is due to a VOLUNTARY federally-run marketing effort called Museum for All, a DEI program that seeks to “eliminate financial barriers to cultural institutions and encourage low-income families to visit museums regularly.” Riverbanks and Greenville Zoos are partially funded by local taxpayers AND just got a $2 million handout from the state in their latest earmarks package. I’m sorry, but that’s ridiculous. If a taxpayer-funded zoo wants to offer reduced admission, fine — lower the price for everyone. People who work, pay taxes, and don’t qualify for government assistance should not be charged MORE for the same publicly subsidized experience. Why are we allowing Riverbanks and Greenville Zoos to participate in this madness? @SCFreedomCaucus

What about what we owe Americans? What about what we owe future generations of Americans? No concern for them I see

8.7 million. In 9 years. Straight up treason.
8.7 million non-immigrant visas were issued to Indian nationals from March 2017 to Feb 2026. A non-immigrant visa is temporary permission to come to America for a limited time- to work, study, or visit - and then return home. 8,704,481 of those visas were issued, according to the State Department. How many do you think actually returned home?

Jimmy Sorrells thank you for taking this pic from last night. Love the vibe we had at our first ever Greenville County gathering. @MarkLynchSC was speaking passionately in this picture about the Lord being the CEO of his business and the importance of turning problems into opportunities! 😁🇺🇸🤝

Flock Safety has more than 120,000 cameras across 49 states. When a company has that kind of reach, South Carolinians deserve to know exactly how their data is being used. I’m seeking answers about Flock’s use of AI, who has access to its data, and how long that data is kept. I will always support giving law enforcement the tools they need to catch criminals. But protecting public safety cannot come at the expense of the privacy and constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens.
Attorney General Alan Wilson sends letter to Flock Safety regarding their privacy and security policies.

Yesterday, Iowa House Republicans were informed by their own pollsters that if you are in a +15 district you’re within the margin for error, if you’re in a +10 district you’re underwater, and that this might end being an even worse midterm environment than 2006. I slept on whether to share this publicly, because I don’t want to cause anyone to black pill. But this morning I ultimately decided the truth should be shared while there is still six weeks left to do something about it for the good of the country. Because if the environment is this bad in my home state, where Trump has been the most popular political figure over the last decade, I can’t imagine where it is everywhere else. Whatever we’re doing or not doing in Iran/Hormuz has become a 2020 Covid lockdown level of political albatross. This is approaching TARP bailout levels of unpopular in my home state. We are risking what’s left of the Trump presidency on this, because if Democrats take control the legislative branch the Trump domestic agenda we all voted for will largely cease between what a Democrat Congress will do and the courts have already been doing. Not to mention what it will cost individual states like my own, which we have worked so hard to make so red these last 20 years (with Trump’s help). This whatever/kinda/sorta/but not really war has become an existential misuse of political capital. Many of us never thought it was worth it, and more and more it appears voters agree. We have to save our own country and our own way of life first before we can save anyone else. We have to save America before we can save the world. If a plane is endangered, you are told to put on your mask first otherwise you’re of no use to help save anyone else. I desperately want us to win. I desperately want this presidency to fulfill all the great promise it had coming out of the 2024 election. But whatever this currently is, isn’t it. We don’t have to just sit here and take the L. It doesn’t have to end this way. We can still win. There’s plenty of ammunition to hammer the Democrats with. We need the president out on the stump asap. We need better and way more aggressive messaging. Stop running fake and gay ads about how often so-and-so shows up for votes, and instead mercilessly hammer Democrats on the wickedness they’re voting for. Articulate specifically what the mission/victory is in Iran/Hormuz, because out here in the cheap seats it feels like another Middle East War quagmire regular folks are paying for on both ends all over again. And for heaven’s sake, make sure Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas are getting the finest healthcare in America.

H-1B APPROVALS BY PRESIDENT 6.4M petitions since 2009. 94.0% approved. Obama 94.5%. Trump I 88.4%. Biden 97.7%. Trump II 97.4% so far. Up until now, it has not mattered who's president. Will that change the last two years of Trump?

Jobs Americans used to do that are now held by foreigners
706,457 tech workers laid off since 2022. 670,693 H-1B visas issued to Indian nationals in the same period. The pipeline never slowed down- even as Americans lost their jobs by the hundreds of thousands and were permanently displaced.

END FLOCK
Lindsey Isaacs, a 23-year-old from Palm Coast, Florida, testified about being thrown into solitary confinement for more than three days after a Flock license-plate camera wrongly tied her Dodge Durango to a deadly I-4 crash. Jail staff told her she had to stay isolated because of how serious the charges were. The cell door stayed locked for about 86 hours. She said she was terrified she would spend the rest of her life in prison for a wreck she knew she hadn’t caused. At her lowest point she didn’t want to live. She spent nearly two weeks in maximum-security jail before prosecutors dropped the charges. Flock should be sued out of existence for this.

🚨Unbelievable—Spartanburg, South Carolina proposed $3 Billion Valara Data Center project just went from an estimated 459,000 gallons of water a day to 1.2 MILLION—with peak usage potentially hitting 1.6 MILLION GALLONS DAILY! That’s more than 2.6× the original estimate. 😬 Maybe we should ask a few more questions before handing over our water supply to data centers. wspa.com/news/local-news/amo…

The Trump Administration will hold every corporation accountable for replacing American workers with cheap foreign labor.
Every day, American workers face discrimination simply because they’re American. Laid off and told to train your replacement—a guest worker visa holder? Passed over, excluded, or harassed just because you’re American? That’s national origin discrimination. It’s illegal, and the EEOC is fighting back to protect workers of ALL races who are American.

NEW: Trump admin has cleared a VERY rule putting a $100,000 fee on every int. student of a US university who uses the Optional Practical Training (OPT) to stay & work after graduating. Hundreds of thousands of highly educated grads will be sent out of the country. 10/10 BAD…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
No such $100,000 fee rule for OPT has been cleared or finalized; it remains only under internal discussion per reports, and the linked reginfo.gov page lists no relevant rules. reginfo.gov/public/do/eoRe… forbes.com/sites/stuartan…
