HMRC have just updated the #furlough guidance to say that employees can be included in #furlough as long as they were on PAYE payroll on or before 19th March and RTI submission was made on or before the 19th March. #newstarterfulough #newstarterprotest

Most people are paid at the end or beginning of the month. The 19/3 cut off (for payroll RTI submissions) is because @RishiSunak KNEW almost no-one would have submitted RTIs before 19th March! Tryna make yourself look good huh...?

It won’t help anyone who was paid after 19 March, whose start date was delayed due to the virus, or who started after that date but had an offer by then. We’re all still financially ruined... and mad they’re saying this solves things! #Newstarterfurlough #newstarterbacklash
