@HMRCcustomers I received a Late Tax Return Notice of Penalty Assessment through the post today. It says I will be charged £100 due to not receiving a tax return for the year ending April 5 2022.
This is wrong as I was not set up for self assessment/employment until Oct 2022
@HMRCcustomers my business, of which I am a partner was not active in tax year 2021-22. I tried to fill out the form by Jan 2023 but my online portal didn't show any SA info. i have tried to call HMRC since the end of January and am currently on hold, have been for 80+ mins now.
